I read the reviews at the Dansko website and ordered with some trepidation. But they are exactly as I had hoped! Stylish, comfortable, durable. They don't work with socks, at least not for me. Without the friction of my sole on the insole, my feet have to grab really hard to stay in them and move them. I have the size I would normally wear in a sandal. A little toe cleavage shows. Suitable for halux limitus/rigidus.

I read all the reviews on the Dansko site; it was with some trepidation that I ordered 2 sizes to try on. Turns out, with socks on it was a real chore to walk in these. My feet had to actively grip to move. No socks and the smaller size it's totally normal. Comfortable, sporty, I love them. The loud squeak other wearers reported doesn't happen to me. A little noise like a sandal slapping up to my heel but not disturbing. Like any sandal or shoe I've ever worn without socks, your foot has to get used to the shoe and the shoe has to soften up at the edges. A little toe cleavage shows. That surprises me.
