The Solamphibian is a great water shoe. It has fantastic grip on slimey, underwater rocks. It’s unfortunate the ladies version only comes in cream/white; I’ve worn them in the river 5 days now and they look like terrible. (See photo).

Perfect sockless summer hiking shoe!
Been looking for a casual hiking shoe for walking my dog in the summer. I always dread putting on socks when it’s hot though, and doesn’t feel worth it when it’s a casual walk. These shoes are perfect! I can wear them for hour+ hikes around the wooded trails, and I can wear them in the river. They’re super comfortable and work great for my neuroma because they have a wide toe box and low drop. I ordered a half size down because I wasn’t expecting to wear socks and they fit perfectly.
Sizing Guide Issue – Incorrect Size Recommendation
We followed the sizing instructions exactly as shown on your website. My wife measured her foot length at 23.5 cm. According to your size chart and recommendation, this corresponds to a US Women’s size 7. However, my wife normally wears size 6–6.5 in most brands. We decided to trust your website recommendation and purchased size 6.5, but the shoes turned out to be extremely large. The insole length is approximately 25.5 cm, which is far bigger than expected for a 23.5 cm foot. At this point, we honestly do not understand how to correctly choose the proper size using your sizing guide. It seems impossible to rely on the recommendations provided on your website. Could you please clarify: * how your sizing is actually measured, * what real foot length corresponds to size 6 and 6.5, * and what size would realistically fit a 23.5 cm foot in this model?
Perfect water shoe
Kept rocks out, easy to dry, durable, and cute. I specifically bought these for a float trip, and I LOVE them for so much more. Other water shoes are too flimsy. These were so comfortable! Only a little bit of sand got in, which is expected. I hope Salomon never stops making these, because I would buy them again and again.
