Great concept - questionable execution
My kid is smaller than 2T. We bought the 2T-4T. The arms are incredibly tight and constricting, yet exceptionally long and too tight and thick to fold. It’s a brilliant concept with terrible execution.
Tight sleeves and thick material
I really wanted to like this sleeping bag. I love the concept and despite it having no reviews beyond being mentioned on Wirecutter as a new product to be reviewed, I decided I wanted to give it a chance! I liked the idea that it could be clipped up in the back for walking toddlers/babies, etc. So, I purchased it for a camping trip with our 7month old (17lb baby). Boy, I wish I had read the reviews on other sites that had mentioned how tight the sleeves were. Baby's arms were swallowed up by the tight, long sleeves. She could not bend her arms very much because of the thickness of the material as well. We could not even roll up the sleeves because the material was so thick. If your baby self soothes using thumb sucking this bag will ensure that s/he absolutely cannot reach it! Our baby likes to roll but she was so stiff in this suit that she could not. Perhaps it is more suitable for an older baby, but I also do not know how an older, larger baby would manage with the tight sleeves. Our friends brought their baby on the same trip but used the Little Mo. I compared the two and was surprised to see how both were warm but the Little Mo significantly less cumbersome and thick. Needless to say, I'll be returning this to purchase the Little Mo instead.
