Grayl  G-MOD Pod Pouch - Medium

Over the years I have had a number of top name packs. They all usually have something that drives me nuts. Both Functionally and for the sake of convenance both on a long hikes and at camp use. I wasn't familiar with Grayls packs but someone there obviously spends some time in the mountains. Every complaint I have about my other packs is addressed in this one. I went with the 35L for a couple night trips. I'm really looking forward to putting this thing through the paces. Great job team, you've created a super functional pack with all the pockets, pouches and accessory attachment capabilities I want in the places I want them.

So I love pouches and all things bag and gear related, but i lean to the tough stuff and often break things. I can say the construction on these pouches has durability in mind with double stitching and waterproof zips. As for the modularity, I use them on the Sling. I think my issues are more with the sling design than these mod pouches. The mod pouches fit on the strap but leave something to be desired on the bottle holder portion. If the bottle holder were not detachable I would say great for the mod pouches, but there is no where to efficiently put them on the bottle holder due to Stitch placement on the MOLLE webbing side panel of the bottle sling holder.

First These pouches are nice, they come in three sizes. I am currently using 1 med and 2 Large be between my EXP Daypack – 25L and my pocket carry. on the pack they are exceptional attachment to the shoulder straps. adding access to fire kit and my immediate needs pouch. the third pouch has become my EDC pouch I carry in my cargo pocket. just the right size for a thigh pocket EDC. quality little bags nice material, Stitching and smooth zippers. I like that all of these come with the clip option as it provides a quick attachment when using contents. this mean lease trips in an out of the pocket while securing the bag so that it isn't dropped to the ground or misplaced.

The Gmod pouches are an awesome attachment for the grayl system. They're super convenient and hold more than you'd expect. I like the large because of the extra room.

I bought this pouch to wear on my belt while out of the house or working. I carry a lot of small EDC items. This pouch mounts securely to your belt with wrap-around Velcro. It's understated and, best of all, doesn't look like a fannie pack. If you are on the fence about what size to buy, I recommend the Large, because even the large is pretty small IMO.

Am I supposed to cut off the velcro flap in the back? I had to put in a longer zipper pull (PARACORD). So it was easier to pull and also as a security feature to lock in the clip.

The versatility of the clip, plus hook & loop back with connected flap cover, lets me switch out the G-Mod pouch quickly between attachment points and equipment. The smooth Aquaguard zipper sets it apart from similar type pouches that use metal inferior quality zippers susceptible to snagging, accidental opening, or freezing. Exact size and shape for my needs. Immediately ordered a second after getting hands on and realizing it’s worth.

Great little pouch, great for keeping small items like a multi tool, or sport drink powders, has a cool mounting system that tucks inside the back exposing the velcro. . . I know for myself, I loose those so easily. . . the clip allows you to just snap it to a pelt loop or D-ring on anything. Definitely recommend.

I decided to get one of these and add it to the waist pack as a fire kit. This is big enough to a fire steel, lighter, and tinder. It’s a great place to store it and can be quickly accessed. I especially like the little strap and hook for added protection so you don’t loose it when going through brush.
