Great cooler for $60 thats unbeatable.
Bought this cooler for a recent camping trip. The quality of the cooler is top notch. It sat out in the 80 degree sun for 3 days straight and the ice only barely melted. For $60 its definitely worth it.
Classic design that works
Chilled the inside for a few hours with a gallon freezer bag full of ice. Then filled it with drinks, a big bag of ice, food, and a top layer of loose ice. Still had ice after three days, and opening it several times. Easy to drain. I'm using it for camping and weekend social gatherings. Nothing fancy here unless you count the recessed drink holders in the lid. Well-built, not overbuilt.
Doesn’t Deliver as Advertised
It’s well made, but does not deliver as advertised. I used it in the mountains at a fully shaded campsite. Outside temp ranged from 60-80 degrees. It required two bags of ice each day. My older Igloo, same size, which sat bedside this new one, only required one bag of ice every two days. It’s well made but has very little insulation and will not perform as advertised in my experience.
