Fits really small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I normally love Brooks running gear, I wasn’t a huge fan of this particular running shirt. I got my usual size and the fit was about two sizes too small for me. The neckline is also incredibly tight and it feels restrictive. I wish the material wasn’t mostly polyester since polyester tends to hold odors and isn’t as breathable. I do appreciate the finger thumb holes and wish more of my running shirts had that feature since it keeps my hands warm on cold days. The bright orange color is good for visibility but it’s not a color I see myself reaching for. If you’re looking for a compression shirt this would be a great base layer for cold winter runs.
Light weight, warm, merino wool blend; great for cold weather/outdoor running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bright color perfect for outdoor running for visibility. Merino wool blend. Not soft, little itchy esp for those with sensitive skin, which is expected for a merino wool blend. Recommend wearing a base layer for those with sensitive skin. Runs a little small. Size large on a 5’4 130lbs female who usually wears a small-medium was a loose comfy fit. Size large on a 5’7 185lbs male with broad shoulders, who usually wears a medium-large, was tight, esp shoulder area. Hole for thumb also nice for outdoor running when it’s cold
Useful Running Shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks High Point Long Sleeve is a quality running shirt. It helps to wick sweat from the body while maintaining a comfortable core temperature. The thumb loops help to keep the shirt in place during exercise. The material appears a bit see-through making the wear as a sole layer, not very flattering. It is not a soft material, however not scratchy. The bright orange color is hard on the eyes but useful for safety. The cut is a standard design with a nice high neck and an appropriate length for the sleeves. The shirt fits true to size. My husband uses it for jogging but doesn’t enjoy wearing it out for daily activities. If I had to change anything I would soften the color orange to get the same safety effect. Other than that minor detail, we would recommend it for a comfortable and functional running shirt.
Comfortable and breathy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed this shirt a lot more than I would’ve imagined! The fit is quite tight for a running shirt, so that’s my only complaint - though the wick made up for it. I really like the color, as well. One thing I was most pleased with is that it appears to be transparent, but as you can see in my picture, it really isn’t. It’s great to have a non-layering shirt! Overall, I think it is successful as a running shirt - the only thing I’d change is the accuracy of the sizing!
M High Point Long Sleeve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this has not been my go to for work out attire. So far, I’ve noticed that the fabric doesn’t wick away sweat effectively, nor does it breathe well. It’s also a bit on the tighter side and doesn’t have ideal stretch. The color is very bright and I tend to lean toward the more natural pallets. I liked that the design was simple and plain, however I would change the color and texture of the fabric.
Great fit, not great feel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the package the shirt fit perfectly. The fabric felt extremely scratchy, which I thought would go away after washing. Sadly, I was mistaken and after washing multiple times the shirt still feels like 400 grit sandpaper. I love the color and the fit is spot on but unfortunately I can no longer wear the shirt due to the material.
Brooks High Point Long sleeve running shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great piece of gear for transitional seasons. Would not wear it when it gets too hot or too cold but for anything in between it does its job perfectly. Not a super fan of the bright orange from a style perspective but the high viz can come in handy for those early morning runs in the dark.
Very slim fit for my athletic build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get the High Point Long Sleeve, but was super disappointed in the fit. I got a medium, my usual size and it fit too snug for me to wear. I wish I could try it out on my runs because the material feels great and I think it would be a great addition for my runs in our Southern California “winter” mornings! I would definitely suggest sizing up a size or even two depending on how you like your running shirts to fit/your body type. My body type is more of an athletic build, so the slim fit really doesn’t work for me. Although I’m disappointed for not being able to try it out properly, I’d still recommend Brooks for your running needs and will just keep in mind the sizing for next time!
Size up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed besides the loud orange color was the fabric. It was thinner than I’d like since I do run in a colder climate. Despite my first impression, I wanted to give it a fair chance. The fit it definitely in the smaller side. It’s a bit tight around the arms and midsection which caused it to ride up a bit. I did layer it with my usual running gear for my morning runs. The fabric feels soft but it didn’t not provide the insulation and moisture wicking abilities. It may work better for a brisk day but not my go to for layering in the cold. Otherwise the shirt does hold up well in the washing machine. The color is loud but a necessity for the time of day I go for my run as it increases viability. I just wish it was a smidge thicker and a lot bigger in size.
Excellent running shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt fits true to size. I am 6’4, 230lbs and it was a good fit. It’s a simple design, and I like the bright orange for running outside. While running outside in the cold Michigan fall, it kept me warm enough to not need a hoodie, but anything colder than 60 degrees, this is a solid base layer. There was no chaffing or discomfort along my neck, elbows, or underarms like sometimes occurs with my other running gear. I wouldn’t make any modifications! This is an awesome shirt and I’ll be purchasing more!
