[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect bag for multi-day hiking trips. The 34L capacity gives you lots of space and flexibility. You can fit everything you need for staying in hostels with room to spare and the compression capabilities make sure it doesn’t feel like the extra space is redundant but you also have space for souvenirs or extra gear along the way if you need it. It’s the perfect size for overnight trips in the summer if you have a super minimal camping set up sleeping pad, sleeping bag liner and super lightweight tent.
I love the pack itself. Nice features such as: built in pocket for sleeping bag, straps at bottom for mattress pad, side pockets big enough for a big bottle, rain cover in its own little pocket. But.... it was too small for me. I couldn't slide the chest strap low enough, the lowest it would go made it hit my clavicle instead of my sternum. The hip belt would close but it just sat wrong on my hips no matter how I adjusted it or the rest of the pack. The waist pockets were just a little too far back that I couldn't zip and unzip them without removing the pack. I ended up exchanging for an Osprey Stratos (Men's model) instead. It has about 2 inches longer shoulder straps, enough to let the chest strap slide to where it should be. The hip belt is also just a little bigger, and let the hip pads sit right around my waist / top of hips. And the waist pockets moved forward about an inch or two, now I can reach them. Lesson learned: be picky about FIT when you're trying it on in the store.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a pack I could use for carry on airplane travel and also for winter day hiking/short summer multi day hikes. So far this pack has been excellent for those purposes. It is really comfortable, I love the back design for airflow and it fits everything I need in an organized way.
