I bought 2 of these for my Copper Spur. Luckily I got one of the old ones that had two brightness modes and got 1 that has the flashing instead of the dim setting. Words cannot express how much I hate the flashing mode. It’s seizure inducing in my friend’s young daughter as we found out recently. Talk about a lawsuit waiting to happen. Do not buy these stupid lights. Save yourself the money and inevitable brand-hate you will come to cherish against Big Agnes. You cannot get the dimmer version anymore, so dot even bother.
Blinking (read seizure) mode is asinine
I really like how these lights are encased in fabric, making them easy to pack and unpack without tangling. That said, I'll add to the sentiments of dozens of other reviewers who absolutely despise the blinking mode! What moron (or morons) at Big Agnes thought this was a useful or desireable feature? At first I thought, no big deal I'll just click past the seizure mode, but that has become so impossible (you still get a couple blinks) and annoying that I ended up giving the lights away. Thanks for nothing, B.A.
