Another Great Design
I'm happy Maui have these design in their catalog now! I had to add stick-on nosepads to them because of my low bridge but besides that the quality is awesome!
Top notch glasses, but temples are too long for me. Please make a shield that fits like the Kanaio Coast!
I purchased the Paluna for cycling. As much as I love my (best pair I’ve ever owned) Kanaio Coast sunglasses by Maui Jim, glass lenses are known to be unsafe for cycling. So, when the Paluna came out, I jumped at the chance to try the “shield” style (polycarbonate lens) for cycling. Unfortunately, the temples are noticeably longer than on the Kanaio Coast. They extend too far past my ears, bumping into my helmet, pushing them down my nose. Luckily, they fit my wife, otherwise I would have returned them. She loves them! If MJ ever makes a shield that fits me better with a cycling helmet on, I’ll buy them. In the meantime, when I get a new helmet, I’ll borrow the Paluna glasses and hope they work better for me. Other than fit, they are top notch.
Bigger than pictures
The try on application is very primitive The try on application on the website does not really reflect what the glasses look like when you have them on so I would say needs significant improvement if you’re gonna offer that kind of software the glasses are great themselves, but they’re a little larger than I thought they would be very happy with the quality and the service from Maui Jim
temples uncomfortable wearing a stocking hat
The temple end pieces are too squared off and should be radiused or narrower. When wearing a stocking cap it pushes on the ears and sides of my head, the pressure points cause pain and I get a headache. I have to stop sking and adjust them constantly. Any suggestions?
Have had many pairs of Maui Jim Sunglasses! Love the comfort and the clarity is superior!. The wrap around design feels like wearing a goggle without the confiness of one!
Stylish but uncomfortable
The glasses look stylish, but I find if I have to touch my nose such as for an itch the lenses scrape the bridge of my nose. Could be softened around the edges.
Greats lens, but frames to big.
Really like the new lens, I wish it came on more frames. I wanted these to fit, but the lens hit my cheeks every time I smiled, which became annoying.
My husband didn’t care for this style, it was a Christmas gift. He would like to return them and will look for a different pair.
