I did a multi day bikepacking trip with plenty of miles each day. The "recovery" bag caught my attention so i decided to give it a try. Works as stated. I felt great each day even with my neighbor snoring in the tent next to me.
i took this liner on a 221 mile bikepacking hut trip. i loved how it felt next to skin, it was a nice layer to have when the hut got too warm for my sleeping bag. and paired with my sleeping bag it was really cozy. i brought the liner to help my legs recover overnight from the long, challenging biking each day. and i have to say, the liner made a difference for me. i was actually amazed at how well it performed for me over the course of the week. i woke up with my legs feeling surprisingly refreshed and recovered.
The liner has become a valued part of my kit since I received it for testing last year. Both on extra cold nights when I need 5° more insulation as well as camping on 80F+ nights when I want some coverage but my main 0° bag is far too warm to tolerate. Y'all know how you need at least one leg under the covers no matter how hot it is? This is perfect for that. I can't speak to the recovery aspects of the ceramic coating as my pre-release liner was simply for durability testing.
I found the best recovery came from pairing this with my Big Agnes Quilt and sleeping in a tent for 8 or more hours; I noticed less recovery when I didn't sleep an entire evening in it (I used it during racing to increase the temp range of my quilt.) *I received this item for free.
I bought this to test the Cellient tech for recovery and healing. I can attest, it does help reduce inflammation and healing to muscle tissue making you ready for the next days exercise. My legs are loose and I require a shorter warm up. I love it.
