Unsure how to apply from cardboard tube
I really don’t know how to review this because I haven’t really got to use the product because it being in the cardboard tubing. I don’t know how to get it out other than scraping it out which I don’t want to do. There’s no instructions. It’s a little aggravating, but I love this product
Very moisturizing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a very moisturizing lip balm. I do feel like have to reapply fairly often but I like that it uses natural ingredients and that it uses less plastic. I recommend it and would consider purchasing it in the future.
Great at Preventing Chapped Lips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The case is a little unconventional: you need to push up from the bottom. Nevertheless, the lip balm dispenses effectively. The balm has a subtle but attractive fragrance. It has kept my lips moisturized.
Impossible packaging
Purchased today and like another consumer commented on, it's impossible for me to push up from the bottom of the center of the cardboard tube using only a finger. I did get it to move, but only by using a piece of metal as a "pusher!" Great idea for packaging (I do hate plastic) but truly impractical. Arthritic hands, and although I can twist my other tubes of lip balm, I can't use this one at all!
Great feel, poor packaging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel of this product, the coconut flavor and Shea is a smooth combination with cracked and dry lips but the applicator feels almost impossible to use compared to traditional non paper tubes. You either have to use a qtip or tear it tubing open to use it each time
Love the new coconut flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love love love everything about this lip balm, flavor the new design am a sucker for all coconut product and this is a new edition to my beauty routine. Highly recommended for dry lips I’ve been using this for weeks now and I can feel and see the difference ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
The worst idea ever! It's a push bottom so no way to push chapstick back down without smearing chapstick everywhere and with the heat here in AZ the chapstick turned soft and made a big mess. Dumb dumb dumb
Love! Please Never Stop Selling This!
I love these lip balms because they actually work for my ultra dry lips. They are real shea butter so sometimes, yes, you may hit a grainy patch. The heat of your lips will smooth it out. I love the quantity of product in the tube, as these last me much longer and are deeply moisturizing compares to their other lip balms. My only complaint is the packaging. I’m fine with the cardboard tube but I do wish there was a way to move the balm up and down. If you accidentally push too much out, there’s no way to put it back in the tube without wasting the product.
Not as moisturizing as the beeswax lip balm
I don't know why, but this isn't as moisturizing for my lips as the beeswax lip balms (either in paper or plastic tube packaging). Although this smells great and glides on smoothly, I find my lips drying quicker. I don't know if it's just my lips in particular that does not work well with shea butter. I get like a tingly, drying feeling shortly after applying. The plastic-free packaging is great though. Sticking to the original beeswax formula in the paper packaging. Love that Burt's Bees is giving several lip balm options in plastic-free packaging!
Good smell but that is about it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I adore Burt's Bees, this wasn't my favorite item from their line. Although the package looked attractive, it was ineffective. To push the item up, you must insert your finger into the bottom of it, a s in a push-pop. When you have to push it back down as well, it creates the same mess as a push pop. The lip balm itself applies really thickly but isn't particularly moisturizing. I think it only rests on the lips. Although it has a great smell, this is not one of my favorite products.
