Minty fresh soft lips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During the summer my lips tend to dry out really quickly. I am very pleased with this Burts Bees lip balm. It is just what my lips needed. It is a lot bigger than the plastic tube which is better environmentally and is a push up from the bottom. It works fine with me as I have smaller fingers but even I need to use my pinky once it gets further down. My husband cannot push it up as his fingers are too big. However he just uses something else like the end of a small spoon or a key to press it up as he really enjoys it as well. His chapped lips are totally gone and he enjoys that it is not a fruity flavored or even waxy mess. Just soft lips. I really like the natural ingredients as I feel better about what we are using on our bodies. Over all I am very pleased with this chapstick, just be aware if you have bigger fingers that you may need help pressing it up.
Double the size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only do I love this because of the paper tube, but it’s also double the size of the regular ones! Glides on easily and keeps my lips moisturized. I also like that you have to push from the bottom to move the tube up because the plastic ones with the twist bottom always ended up twisting up in my purse and I don’t have to worry about that with the paper tube.
Sustainable packaging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vanilla bean lip balm from Burt’s Bees is in a paper/cardboard tube so it is more sustainable. The packaging is fine, except you have to push up the product from the bottom with your finger instead of twisting like the plastic packaging and it doesn’t stay up. You will need to keep pressure while applying so the balm doesn’t fall back into the tube. It’s not terrible just different and requires a little adjustment to how I typically apply by lip balm.
Burts bees lip balm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Burts bees beeswax lip balm is wonderful. It hydrates my extreme chapped lips. I love how it smells as well. It comes in a large tube. I feel like it last very long as well. I highly recommend this product.
Two Tubes In One
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical about the paper tube at first because the humidity and heat usually doesn't go well with paper products, but it's a win. The tube is wider than your larger Burt's bees chapstick tube because it is two tubes in one. Being a bit bulkier, it actually doesn't change the way it feels in my pocket or purse. The tube has indeed held up to the hot and humid summers and sticky sweaty hands. I'm pleased that it has more chapstick then usual and doesn't make it anymore difficult to use.
Wasn't sure I'd love it BUT I DO!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect from the Burt's Bees Lip Balm in a paper tube. I'd gotten very used to the plastic tubes (one of my go-tos), but I was pleasantly surprised. I actually like the shape of this better, and think it makes the lip balm go on even more smoothly. You can't not love that it also holds 2x the amount of balm - meaning I need to replace it far less often. So far, so great with the paper tube for me!
Great chapstick, annoying tube
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chapstick from burts bees is great as always. I have never been steered wrong. But the tube is super annoying. I understand that it is more environmentally friendly, but you have to get the hang of holding the bottom so that you don't just push the chapstick back in when you're trying to use it. Definitely prefer the plastic tube, but I"m going to do my best to get used to this since its better for the earth!
Double the Balm, Double the Fun!
I've been a loyal Burt's Bees lip balm user since 2001 when I used my allowance to purchase my first tube at a health food store. Of all the products I have ever tried, this chubby lip balm tube is my FAVE! I love the size of it when applying because of how much surface area it covers. So satisfying and so hydrating. Thanks Burt's Bees for making this larger size! I've already put one in all my everyday pockets.
Love the paper tube alternative!
I'm so glad Burt's Bees came out with this plastic-free lip balm because of all the lip balms I've tried (EOS, Badger, etc.), I always tend to like Burt's Bees formula -- it's the most moisturizing and long-lasting for me. I've tried other paper tube lip balms, but haven't found one I liked. Now that Burt's Bees has these paper tube lip balms, I feel like I now have the best of both worlds -- a lip balm formula that's plastic-free. I'm not sure how the tube will hold up in my purse in a hot day; I suspect that it'll melt and get easily deformed. The cap slips off easily. The tube itself is well-made though, and it's easy to push up and down the lip balm. Because I am more cognizant of the paper tube lip balm being more susceptible to melting on a hot day, I like keeping this lip balm for using at home and storing a separate Burt Bee's plastic tube lip balm in my purse to use when I'm out and about.
Vanilla lip balm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Burts bees lip balm is a great brand I've always used. Vanilla is definitely a favorite scent of mine. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time and soft. The paper tube packaging is different and I wasn't sure how it would be..like sturdy or not like plastic but it actually works just fine. And it comes with a wide rounded tube for full coverage of lips in one swipe.
