We have used this for 6 months or so in hot sun, wind, and rain. It did a great job in all conditions and packs down small. It’s much sturdier than the free standing awnings and once I got used to pitching it I’m able to set it up in 5-10 mins. My only run is I wish the fabric was treated with some sort of reflective sun coating. The shade it makes is helpful but not nearly as cool as the shade from trees, vehicles or thicker awnings. Just a trade off for the light weight and price.
Everything You Need And Sturdy
Got this as a last minute addition to my camp set up. Smart move as it rained the first day. Kept me and my stuff nice and dry even though I accidentally set it up inside out (or upside down). Also stayed up even through the moderate to higher winds that came through. Big enough to fit my tent under and all my other stuff. Comes with the poles, lines, and pegs you need all in the bag. Very nice overall.
