Glamping Capable

Received free product

The instructions were clear and attached inside the storage bag. All seams are securely stitched inside and out. The fabric feels durable, and the Juniper Blue color is soft and gender-neutral—very calming for me. Zippers glide smoothly. It has generous front storage pockets and a zippered port for cords. The vestibule is oversized, and there’s a roof buckle for hanging a lantern. Both entrances are tall and wide—at 5’4”, I could stand fully upright inside with more room to spare. This is easily one of the nicest 4-person tents I’ve seen—perfect for glamping or camping. My only disappointment was the duffel bag, which uses a flap and cinch cord instead of a full zipper.

Generous 4 person space!

Received free product

I’ve used this tent on two camping trips so far and really like it. One of the biggest highlights for me is that I can actually stand up inside, which makes changing and moving around so much easier. It also feels like a very generous four person space, especially for two people with gear. The vestibule was big enough to fit my camp chair, which created a nice covered outdoor area. I also liked the two doors and the several mesh pockets inside for organizing small things. Another thing I loved was the wide, easy to stuff storage bag with duffel handles, which made packing it up surprisingly easy. The only things I’d improve are adding a vestibule on both sides of the tent and color coding the rainfly straps, since the fly is pretty large and it can take a minute to figure out which side goes where during setup. Overall it’s a comfortable, spacious tent with a lot of thoughtful features.

Solid car camping option

Received free product

Weather changed our camping plans but still set up and broke it down in less than10 minutes as a first time attempt without staking or setting up the fly. If anything, quicker to setup but I was able to get it back in the carrying sack in 10 minutes by myself. My two cents : - I like the color coded poles (2 fo the structure, 1 for the entry. - I needed a 2nd person to easily guide the poles and get them in the grommets - Room enough for 2 people and gear… maybe a third smaller kid but, while 4 people could sleep, the gear would need to be stowed elsewhere - Easy access for extension cords and hanging a light - Ample space to stand. My son and I are 5’10” and 6’. Definitely a plus - Zipper quality is sturdy -The grommets have a fold of material to make it so easy to ‘lock in’ the structure poke that are not flimsy

Great tent with extra room and storage options

Received free product

This is a beautiful tent to take car camping. I really appreciate the storage bag the tent materials come in - definitely more nifty than my other tents. It was a cinch to put up, and the larger front vestibule gives ample space for your crusty hiking boots. There's plenty of storage within to stash camp shoes, a book, lights, etc. As someone who really hunkers down in their tent, I value the ability to be neat and to keep things off the floor of the tent. I received this tent as a part of the REI Trailblazers program, and received it in February in the Northeastern United States. As such, at this point I've only pitched it in my basement and my backyard. That said, we're already very excited for this tent to replace our go-to for the various car camping adventures we have lined up this year. If you're looking for a 4 person tent with extra room and comfort, you really can't go wrong here!

Big tent in a small package

Received free product

Nice things really do come in small packages. This tent packs down pretty small, though it did come in a bit over 15 lbs. Setup was fairly easy with my partner in crime helping out. Once we figured out which side was the front door (oops), everything went smoothly. The poles that go straight into the grommets were a big win. Those little metal spike loops usually slip all over the place, so this made setup way less annoying. The fit is snug and the poles are long, but that just means the tent ends up nice and tight. There’s even a small zipper pocket for electronics, which was a cool little bonus. It’s advertised as a four person tent, but realistically it’s best for two people plus gear. The height is great, though — my six foot helper could stand up straight, which is always a plus when you’re camping. It rained overnight and the tent stayed dry overall, but the floor felt a little damp, so we’ll definitely use a tarp or footprint next time. The good news is it dried out super fast once the sun and breeze showed up.

Great tent, easy set up and very spacious.

Picked this up for my wife and I to use for longer camping trips where we could use the extra space a 4 person tent provides. We took it out for a quick weekend trip and so far we’re very impressed. It’s very easy to set up - it probably took us 10 minutes max. I’m a little concerned about its performance in any level of heavy rain since the rain fly doesn’t completely cover the tent (especially on the sides and back) but we live in Colorado so rain isn’t much of an issue here so it’ll be a while before we get to test that out. Packing the tent down was just as easy as setting it up, which is always a nice bonus. I would also note that while the advertised standing height is only 69”, I am 74” tall and was able to stand up inside the tent much more comfortably than I would’ve thought.
