Sizing range!!!!!!
This was the first tube I've ever not had to powder before installing. It had even more powder inside. My rims are of a very common width. They mount 1.95 tires and 2.10" tires perfectly well. These Cannondale tubes were some of the only 26" in stock. I run both 1.95 and 2.1 width tires. I chose the 2.0-2.5 range because 2.1 was what I was putting on at the time, and I figured streching the smaller one out too thin would be a bad idea. Change in weather and surface conditions, and after only two rides I was changing to the other set of tires, as you do. The tube pushed the beads out and balloned over the rim. Pop! My ears are still ringing. Sensory organ injury is real and serious. The lack of sizing overlap at exactly the width most rims are optimized for, make buying these like throwing your money away and hitting yourself with a sledge. REI should drop these and stock the Co-op tubes, or find a suitable product to take up shelf space.
Expensive Bring Back REI Tubes!
It’s a tube it works but almost $10 is no bueno bring the REI branded tubes that were $6 or $7.
