Bedrock Sandals  Mountain Clogs - Synthetic Suede

I got these for wearing around town and before and after trail runs and hikes, kind of like a winter sandal. I don't plan to use them to their full off-road potential, but I like them! I'm not used to barefoot/minimalist shoes but find them comfy anyway. They're lighter than you'd think. I appreciate the vegan option! The brown is darker than the stock photos, but it does look more pale in certain light. I do wish there were a narrow option. They look a bit clowny on me (especially without socks), but I'm embracing the dorkiness. They're expensive but seem well-made. Sizing: I wear a women's 10.5 in Chacos and 11 in running shoes. My feet are on the narrower/lower volume side of normal width. The 11 Men's/12 Women's fit best with midweight hiking socks. They feel big without socks, but I plan to mostly wear them with socks.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these clogs are! I've only worn them for one day but so far, so good. As others may have mentioned, the initial buckle adjustment is a little tricky but once it's done, you're good to go. The roomy toe box is a dream-come-true for anyone (like moi) who has bunions. And they're adorable (IMHO)! I took one point off because I don't love the color, which is quite a bit darker than shown on the website -- more "mud" than "pinecone" -- but that wasn't a deal-breaker for me, especially since I expect to wear them in all kinds of inclement weather. Recommended!

Great shoes! They run a hair small (as most barefoot shoes do, I’m typically w8, but w9 in these and Altras) and are a bit darker in person than they appear on the website.

These are my go to shoes for everything. They slip on hands-free if you leave the top strap loose. I wear them gardening, walking the dog, and running errands. If you tighten them, they’re great easy trail hiking shoes. I anticipate them being good slip ons to bring skiing before and after ski boots.

I have 2 pairs, both made with suede. The nubuck was a bit stiff and I did not feel like breaking them in, though I think they might be more durable. I have tried my mountain clogs on a couple short trail hikes; they do not provide the support I need. I wear my To*** for hiking. But for almost everything else, I wear my mountain clogs: shopping, long walks, lengthy city staircases (San Francisco), ball games...I'm spoiled. These shoes are so comfortable, I can hardly stand to wear anything else. It took me a while to dial in, just the right fit; there are a couple straps on the shoe that can be loosened or tightened to find just the right fit. My first pair took me a day or two to find perfect, the second pair got dialed in, in a about an hour. You will need to take the time to find perfect for you, but well worth it. Also, I do loosen the straps in winter to accommodate thick socks. I normally wear 10 in regular shoes, 10.5 in hiking boots and my mountain clogs are 11. I tried the 10s, which worked for summer with thin socks (or no socks), but when I put on thicker socks, the 11s worked best. I just tighten the straps more in warmer months.
