I received the Lamina 30F/-1C Long today, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. This review only covers my first impressions of the materials and construction. The bag seems well made, the zipper slides freely, and the lining feels comfortable. A couple of negatives, so far. The bag makes a crinkling sound when you move, which is only slightly annoying. My main issue is with the compression sack. On my first try, I wasn't able to fit the bag into the sack, so I removed it and tried again. This time, I stuffed the bag in more tightly and was just able to get it to fit. When cinching down the compression straps, I pulled on the outer edges of the end cap to ensure that the bag was fully enclosed in the sack. When doing this, the seam separated where the panels on the outer edge of the cap are sewn together. In my opinion, the compression sack is not large enough for this bag, and the seam on the end cap should have been reinforced better, considering that it is under high stress. Because of the size issue and ripped seam, I'm going to get a larger compression sack from a different manufacturer.
Lamina bags are solid bags. The specs are wrong though. My regular size is 2lbs 8 oz. Subtract 4 oz in the picture for the compression sack.
Writing this from the middle of the woods, terrible.
