Mountain Hardwear  Peak Rambler Pants - Women's

I have a lot of mountain hardwear pants, but the fit of these isn’t great… even though I sized up, they were tight in the bum which made it that the front had to be worn super high waisted and the back of the pant had to be worn lower. Also the back pockets are in a weird spot, which don’t make them practical and are forced opened if you have a bit of a bum…Loved the fabric but not the fit.

Comfy and loose in a good way. Please make pants in black though!

I recently bought these pants in my quest to find more cool & colorful pants for hiking and fishing. I have really been loving them so far! They are very comfortable, stretchy, and lightweight. They feel pretty breathable (though I have not worn them on mega-hot days yet). The fit is on-point. I have a 28"-29" waist usually wearing a size 6, and a 6 fit perfectly. I like that they're not super tight on my hips and thighs, with plenty of wiggle room to lift my legs high and climb over trees and rocks. They've held up so far while brushing up on all kinds of things outside, and I like that they repel smaller splashes of water. While I like the pants overall and will continue to wear them, there are a few details that could be improved that would bring the quality up to the next level. The elastic in the back waist is slightly too short for the channel it is sewn into, so the elastic rolls a little bit inside the fabric. It's okay while I'm wearing it, but it does have to get fixed after every wash. I also wish they had a cinch in the hem; I'm in a tick-heavy area and would like to keep bugs out while I'm trekking from place to place. These two details keep the pants from being completely perfect in my book, but they are really great otherwise.
