Excellent for Backpacking
This Ultra 3R sleeping pads is one of the best backpacking pads I've used! And I have tried quite a few. It's lightweight - just over one pound. It's comfortable. And it's thick enough that my hips don't touch the ground when I sleep on the side. It's also not noisy, which is a bonus. One negative is that the valves are on the bottom of the pad, so if you want to add air or take air out in the middle of the night you have to turn the pad over. I just sleep on it with the valves up so I can adjust it during the night. I should also note that it is easy to blow up using the schnozzle. This mat is right up there with the other good ultralight backpacking mats!

Comfy and quiet!

The Exped Ultra 3r is lightweight, yet comfortable (I am a side sleeper), and folds/rolls up pretty small. AND, I promise—you’ll be the QUIETEST toss-and-turner in the shelter/at the campsite.

Durable and lite pad.
I love this pad! I use one for myself and my kids who are way too rough with it and no leaks yet. The cradle feature is great for keeping them on the pad at night too, and they stay plenty warm even in winter.
