Works as advertised. Decent hiking pants.

I've got the Wind Wall shorts and wear them daily for my runs. Got the pants during the membership sale. I use a lot of North Face gear and like the brand. These pants are decent hiking pants. The material is water resistant and durable. I've noticed these "run hot" in hot conditions i.e. material isnt really breathable and traps heat. Likewise the run cool in cold temps and i recommend using a merino base layer. Wind resistance is provided by that same non-breathable fabric and these work as intended. I found these true to size. There is a draw string inside to allow you to tighten down a bit for a perfect fit. I suspect this material may get stained pretty easily by things on trail but so far I've managed to avoid stains. If your going on a rock scramble just be aware of that risk. As pure hiking pants who cares right? I like the looks of them well enough to use them for casual activites around town so thats where stains would become an issue.

Too Heavy and Baggy

These pants feel like ski pants. I'm sure they're great for blocking wind, but I'd never wear them hiking or casually and certainly not for any higher intensity activity. They are very heavy and baggy; I normally fill out a size medium athletic pant, but these have a large amount of material in the legs and seat. The waist and cuffs are also very wide to the point of being noticeable while wearing them. I'm not keeping them, even with the on-sale price and bonus coupon.

i liked last years version better, more colors,

last years version had a cargo pocket and was made from a thinner lighter material. they made them from their tougher "wind wall"material. i do like that they embroidered the logo (id prefer that it be color matched instead of white) instead of satin applique iron-on. these are tougher and more durable than last year but i think last years were more comfortable. i would still buy again and id like to see more colors available

Nice windpants

Nice and loose fitting. I needed to wear small even though normally wear medium so it does fit larger than usual. It has a nice look and does seem to block wind although in cold weather you would want to wear something underneath since it is not soft inside.

perfect as described

they are comfortable and breathable, perfect for every day use or even for hiking in cooler climates or mountainous regions. havent tested them in super cold temps but i think these will be fine so long as you stay above probably 40 degrees range

WOULD BUY AGAIN

True to size, consistent with other TNF products. Gave these as a Christmas gift and my brother-in-law loved them Great quality and lightweight material. Comfortable and easy for everyday wear. Definitely recommend

Good pants

Pretty much what you'd expect, light pants, cool looking, the bright olive color is awesome. There really isn't a lot to say, if you're looking for something like this they're a good buy.

Yes, would buy again-highly recommend

Awesome joggers and they block the wind pretty well, love the material and relaxed fit perfect for weekends and commutes to work. I bought the the green color which really stands out.

A little beefier than other TNF pants

I think these are more winter pants than summer, although could do both...just compared to other TNF pants I have, I would save these for colder temps. Otherwise, good pants.
