[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore it with leggings to go walking around my neighborhood and for a light 3 mile jog after. I love how cushiony but still supportive that they felt. I love the color and styling of the shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Ellipse through my running crew and have worn them for short easy runs (<5 miles) and walking and they feel great for both ! I am a slower runner (~11 min/mile at the moment) and these feel like a great shoe for my easy running pace. The colors are really fun and the style is great as a daily wear shoe as well as a running shoe. I also have a pair of the Mores and the 1080s and I’d say the Ellipse falls somewhere between these in terms of cushion and bouncyness. For sizing, I took my regular New Balance size - the width is pretty standard (not as roomy in the toe area as the Mores, or as slim as the 1080s). Overall a great, fun shoe !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoyed the shoe! As soon as I put it on, I could tell it was going to be a very responsive ride. When running, I noticed it would be especially great for midfoot or heel strikers, thanks to the foam focused toward the back of the shoe. The padding around the shoe might run a little hot in the summer, but that’s pretty expected for a daily trainer. As a borderline wide-foot runner, I was relieved that it still felt like there was enough room for my feet in thin running socks. Bonus points for the look, too—I’ve definitely worn these out casually as street shoes. Excited to keep running in them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took these on a work trip to SF. Perfect multi use! I could bang out a 4 mile run before work and wore them to the office and still felt stylish. Love the aqua color way, and the foam heel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ellipse is a great addition to my current rotation. It’s comfy and has great cushion. I believe this would be a great reliable daily trainer that one can use on those easier run days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A shoe that strikes the perfect balance between style and comfort: the new Women’s Ellipse v1 from New Balance. I immediately loved the look, but what really impressed me was how they feel on the run. I’m very familiar with New Balance footwear—especially the 1080s—so I already appreciate the Fresh Foam cushioning and support, and the Ellipse v1 absolutely delivers. The ankle support stands out in particular, providing a secure, confident feel without being restrictive. The fit is true to size (I’m a women’s 9), and the shoe feels lightweight rather than clunky or stiff. My pace hasn’t been affected at all—I’m still comfortably hitting faster efforts in these. Overall, this is a versatile, well-designed daily trainer. I plan to continue training in them and fully expect to take them all the way through a marathon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe is very comfortable. I use it for daily running, recovery, pacing, and long runs. I like the extra cushioning. I also use it for walking. The color is one of my favorite features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took them on an easy run, they felt very secure, good ankle support and great cushion. They are my new daily trainer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fresh foam is unmatched in the running shoe market. I love the styling of the ellipse compared to some of the other NB options as well. The toe box is a little stiff but that is likely do to first use and will open up by breaking them in. As a heel striker, the added cushioning in the back is advantageous for a lighter, bouncier push-off.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect casual trainer! Feels super soft and comfortable underfoot. Will be a go-to in the rotation for half marathon training. Obsessed with the color way and receive tons of compliments on the style. Could see these as go-tos for long errand days outside of runs.
