[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually run in more structured shoes (the 869s), so I was not expecting to love the 1080 v15 this much. The bounce is immediate. Soft without feeling mushy, and responsive without feeling unstable. From the first few steps, the ride felt smooth and effortless. There was no break-in period. Just comfortable, forgiving miles that made me want to keep going longer than planned. It felt lighter than expected and easy on the legs, even at a steady pace. If you prefer a supportive daily trainer but want something plusher for easy or recovery runs, the 1080 v15 is a great switch-up.
The 1080 is the one and only shoe I can wear comfortably. My size is 13 Narrow. I get so excited when I hear a new release is coming because I purchase every color in my size. Unfortunately NB thinks black and white are what I need, not lime green, rosewood, or navy and other fashionable colors. I am so disappointed in NB - I am literally a walking advertisement for them and as time goes on, they offer me less and less.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1080s have allowed me to keep up running as a hobby. I have flat, somewhat wide feet and was wearing knee braces for years, going to PT and not knowing why I was experiencing pain while running. Once I switched to the 1080s I’ve been able to run comfortably and without any sort of brace.
This shoe is THE BEST I’ve ever owned and I’m 62! It’s a dream come true! I have a wide foot so I ordered the women’s 2E. My feet swell also and they accommodate that! I can’t say enough about the cushioning and also supportive enough! Thank you, New Balance😊❤️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m newer to new balance. I’m currently training in the rebels and ran my fall marathons in the sc elites. Love the 1080s! I’ve been looking for a really cushiony shoe for recovery days and this is it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfy with nice padding to reduce strain. Paces improved a lot for me during my runs and felt easier. Very bouncy. 4.5 stars rounded up.
Super comfortable and it feels like running on clouds… but not the best quality and would expect better for the price. Example of one of the marks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid trainer for when you don’t want a plated shoe. Have been a dedicated 1080 fan through many versions.
Fit smaller than V14 but very reactive ! Feel like I’m running on clouds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been running in New Balance since 2022, and they’re my go-to shoes for easy, tempo, speed, and long runs. I’ve always used the 1080s as my easy recovery shoe, and the v15 is no exception. While I’ve only logged about four miles in them so far, I can already say that the new technology has amplified what I loved about the older versions. They’re incredibly soft and cushioned—truly like running on a cloud—while still offering the same support that earned my trust in previous models. They also feel lighter overall. The fit seems slightly longer and a bit narrower than earlier versions, which is neither good nor bad. Even with wide feet, I didn’t experience any discomfort at all. And not to mention the fun neon yellow-green colorway—I’m excited to put in many more miles in these.
