Missed opportunity
Disappointing redesign on the footprint means this footprint can’t be used for a fast-fly setup to pitch the fly without the tent as a quick and light shelter for rain or shade or ultra light camping. Previously the poles used to attach straight into the footprint without needing the tent, now the footprint attaches to the tent instead. Unfortunate change that is a downgrade as far as I’m concerned. A footprint can be so much more than just a tent floor protector but this one missed that opportunity.

Protects my tent from dirt and may even add a tiny bit more R value.

pretty sturdy material, especially if you’re setting up on some lil rocks or u missed clearing out some small sticks from under the tent…will definitely protect ur tent floor base with an added layer of protection :)
