I have been using this tent for the past Year. From the mountain ridge to the ocean. It’s light, robust and all features are well thought out! I use it when I am guiding or recreating in the mountains or by the ocean with friends and family. The environment /eco story is worth noticing with this product. It’s incredibly spaced out for a 2 person tent.
This tent has it all. It's lightweight, easy to set up, well constructed, and it's got the night light feature that I can't live without. I can't believe how spacious it is inside and I love all the storage pockets!!
I used this trip for a trip in Africa where day temperatures would reach 30+ celcius and remain pretty high throughout the night. The 3P worked wonders to keep strong ventilation across the tent, and perhaps make me believe that I was somehow protected against a lion 🦁! The stake design has also changed slightly here and it makes it even easier than before to setup. Even for a 3P this is a very easy 1 man job, even in more harsh conditions. Also, the amount of storage space available inside is AMAZING!
I purchased this tent last week and just got back from giving it a proper shakedown. The tent is lightweight and sets up easy. Plenty of room on the inside for me; the included gear loft was more useful than initially thought. We had a rainstorm come through and the tent kept me and my gear in the loft dry. I really like the nightlight pocket in the roof of the tent as well. I feel this tent is sturdy and will last quite a while. Having a lifetime warranty is a plus too. After searching for a few months for the best lightweight tent for one person. This Nemo did the job well! My only two criticisms, I wish the footprint was included with the tent purchase, and the tent is a bit on the pricey side.
Great tent! Lightweight, good quality! You can tell the attention detail when its set up, and the thought that went into the design is clear, and user friendly. It comes with good quality stakes, which is a rare find. I would like to see a velcro prop on the rain fly at the top of the zipper to help with airflow. I wanted this model, as I like the rainfly comes down farther. I dont think it can be beat, as its a good mix of features, space, quality, and weight.Overall a fantastic piece of gear!
Perfect size for me and my dog! I love a Nemo tent and the new gear vestibule is a dream come true!
I've had this tent for about a year. Did a few short trips, and one long one. Used it for about 20 nights in total. Really is a great tent. Had 10 days of rain in a row on the trail and not a single leak. The set-up is super simple, doors are easy (and big enough) for me to get into without crawling. Vestibule was generous, particularly on my rainy days. Color coding is great, pole attachment points are great. I enjoyed the light defusing pocket. I love the way the footprint integrates to the tent, I'm surprised more companies don't do it that way. The stuff sack is flexible if you do not want to put the poles with the tent body/rain fly on the trail. Also, after purchase support is great! Had a mishap where there was about a 12" tear in the tent (kids being kids in a campsite, no fault of nemo). Sent it back to Nemo and it was repaired for a VERY reasonable fee. Now I get to use it more. Great company, great product!!
Light enough for backpacking but comes with all of the creature comforts of a heavier tent. Love that they’ve taken the stake count from 8 to 6, the addition of the landing zone, and the light pocket is just the cherry on the sundae.
New additions made this tent so much better. No more cutout which adds a tiny bit of weight but a bunch more protection. The poles have such a premium feel to them. Probably the best free standing tent out there.
A lot of great features on this tent. The color-coded poles and clips made setting it up really easy, and the nightlight pockets work really well at toning down the bright white light from my headlamp.
