[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running shoes are fantastic. They fit perfectly, and the adjustable laces make it easy to get a secure, customized feel. I’ve used them on sugar sand, gravel, dirt trails, and pavement, and they’ve performed great on every surface. They’re incredibly comfortable and lightweight, even on longer runs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile, reliable running shoe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with these shoes right out of the box. Light weight, true to size, with a cool lacing system. These shoes have great energy return with every stride, while still being stable. Most running shoes with a tall stack lack stability to push your speed, but not these. Also, the design is great for preventing dirt and sand from getting into the shoe with a trade-off being breathability. After about 25miles or so, I don't really notice any wear, even the tread is holding up. I'll definitely be shopping Salomon again for my footwear needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Aero Glide 4 GRVL on a variety of different terrains including road, light to moderate dirt & grass trails and at the beach, I can say these are very versatile. They have a “cloud-like” cushion across mediums, are lightweight and have a responsive feel without being bulky. The lacing system is easy to get use to and very convenient - tighten and tuck. It only happen a a few times but one thing I did notice while walking in a neighborhood is that the inside arch area had a bit of side to side roll since it is narrower. Overall the cushion and surface to surface transitions are so seamless and adaptable that this is easily a daily wearer and ready to go if you decide at the last minute to blaze a trail. Highly recommend picking up a pair. p.s. - they also look great!

I love the fit and bounce 'bounce' of the trainers. However after only 134Km of running they are showing signs of wear that I would not expect this soon. They have been worn on 50% gravel and 50% grass/off road. I have an ultra to do in them in just over a week, lets hope they last. I also had a pair of genesis and they are the same. Disappointed in what is supposed to be a premium brand.
Too comfortable to use the whole day. I love this brand in general.
Cushioning is pretty good but the shoes feel a bit dead on easier paces (8-10 min mile) and a bit unresponsive at fast paces (5-6:30). The foam is adequate if I could use one word, but the stack and geometry is really nice. Upper is breathable and heel area hasn’t caused any issues for me. If I could make one improvement it would be cutting the midsole in 1/2 or 3/4 and adding a slab of the foam used on the phantasm for a better foam feel. My only question is why the tongue is so long? Ran 17 miles since buying them a week ago, I’ll def look forward to more Salomon road shoes in the future. Sole grip is sticky but I just wish there was some more coverage
I really like the look of these, and they are CRAZY comfortable, especially coming from a guy who is used to very minimal shoes. The rocker takes a min to get used to and it feels a little like cloud orthopedics (but this is where the market has gone). They are great for walking around town or traveling with because they are so floaty, and you can take them on simple trail walks, but I definitely would not run in them on uneven surfaces. They are too high and so the ankles feel very vulnerable. Just my take, you do you, boo. Fit wise, these feel less narrow than other Salomons. I like them much better. Also, very lightweight.
Just got these from REI and my first 4 mile run was so comfortable and peppy. The midsole foam is such a nice balance of responsive bounce and soft feel but not squishy. I had to try them after watching so many positive review videos. They run a tad narrow but the length is true to size. I run between a 10 or 10.5 and I got the 10 and they fit well. The laces take a little time to get used to but once secured they stay in place perfectly. I usually like shoes with a lower drop but the 8 mm feels more like 6 to me. Great shoe for travel when you might get to run on trails or road.
As someone who runs road, dirt, aggregate, etc, and does cool down walks through a neighborhood old growth forest, these are absurdly perfect. I'm 5'11" 160lbs, ex-D1 soccer, really just do long slow/er paced runs and micro-moments of speed work, and these are genuine game changers. I wear a Nike 10, Hoka 10.5, I got these in a 10.5 and they fit nearly perfectly. Perhaps be prepared to add a little extra ankle padding since it might cut into your ankles around the opening. The lacing system is fantastic, just pull up and then forward and you're good. Surprisingly good cushion, support, weight distro and breathability. 8/10
