Halfdays  Gwen UV Lightweight Pants - Women's

Really comfortable to wear and the fit is super flattering! My favorite pant!

I really wanted to love this pant because in theory it's exactly what I want. The medium fit me perfectly (145lb, 5'7", 29" waist, 39" hips) and I love the side cargo pockets. Unfortunately, the zippered hand pockets were just placed too weirdly for me. They sit further inward toward the middle of the pant in comparison to most pants I own. This means when you put something in the pocket it will basically end up resting in your crotch. If I never wanted to actually use the hand pockets I would have kept them, but not worth it at this price.

I bought these in preparation for a trip to the Julian Alps and Dolomites this summer. They didn’t disappoint. The weather was actually quite hot (considering location), but I didn’t wish I had on shorts. I was happy to have the protection from the sun and outdoor elements on my legs. These pants are VERY comfortable (great elastic waistband). I wish they came in more colors. Although black came in handy with hiding dirt after multiple days of wear. I am 5’6” 130-135lbs, and the medium was a great fit for me.

Bought these for safari - I do multiple trips to Kenya a year - sometimes bringing large groups on tour - and always struggle to find a the right pant when it can be cool in the morning but hot during the day and when you are going from high plains to tropical beaches. These are the winner! Comfortable, versatile - wear them wide legged, cinched or rolled up a bit depending on your need. I'll be getting another pair for my next trip and telling others to do the same. Also have the bastille pant - another goodie for more serious trekking - slightly less versatile. Really glad I found Halfdays. For reference 5'3" and 122lbs ordered small but could definitely have done an xs in both - will likely stay with S for this pant because I like the oversized look but will size down on future bastille pants. Length is great.

This is everything I've ever wanted in a pant! It's so comfortable and just effortless. The 4 pockets have all the storage I need, and the bottom of the pant can be adjusted so it is perfect for my height. The waistband is super comfortable and has a drawcord which I love. Highly recommend!

I returned these pants because they were way too large! I liked the style and material. I'm 5'3 138lbs - a daily biker.
