This is seriously the most comfortable sleeping pad I've ever used. I make excuses to go car camping just so I can sleep on the flyer. It's thick and comfortable, I never have any hip pain or shoulder pain even sleeping directly on the wooden platform in my car. It's also made out of a really thick material so I don't have to worry about my dog's nails puncturing it. 10/10 would recommend!!
I bought this for a trip where I will hike with a 30L pack and camp out. My back needed this wonderful design. However, I used it onetime at home the day after purchase. Wonderful feeling. Packing it back up I broke a sweat trying to roll it tight for the sack. I had it and put the strap on. When tightening the strap, the plastic loop clip broke. First use. There is no way to repack it in the sack. If this happened on my trip I’d be screwed with no way to get it in my carry on again. I’ll have to return it but I’m sad. It is the most comfort I have felt in a sleep pad
This is a solid backpacking pad. I seem to focus lately on what’s between me and the ground and allocate weight in my pack accordingly. Volume is larger than lightweight pads but that was a known factor when I purchased. I’ve taken it on two early season eastern Sierra trips in mixed conditions and it’s been very nice. The materials and feel now make what used to be a very utilitarian object for me (sleeping pad) into something I actually look forward to relaxing and sleeping on!
Very happy with this as I was looking at the hest foam camp bed but wanted something light and more compact. This is the perfect blend of foam and air. It's stable and comfortable to lay on, the fabric is soft but tough. Def not meant for backpacking but great for drive up car camping.
I haven’t used this pad in the field yet, but I tested it out for a nap at home. It’s a bit heavier—and bigger when rolled up and packed—than I would prefer, but it’s going to make my sleeps during elk hunting an absolute dream!!
This product really lives up to its name - totally felt like I was floating on a cloud. Didn't think camping could feel this comfortable! I also really loved the feel/texture of the fabric, no sheets needed.
the self inflation really helps cut down on prep, especially after I just set up a tent or two! The compactness after I pack it back up is great too, especially when camping with family
