You get what you pay for in awnings.
Bought this RH Major Shady / OverNOut 270 at a substantial savings. 1st concern is “which one” did I actually purchase and what is the difference between either name? What is the actual awning fabric weave in terms of strength? Manual information on this topic compared to the adds watched and read , differs quite a bit. That said, at the reduced price point ($699) it seems well made and durable with a great double zipper cover and provides decent shade and good fit around my truck. Although, overpriced at its original $1099 price point. Also saved shipping charges by shipping through REI. Yes, better awnings are available, with lighting, for example, but at nearly double the price ($1200) paid for this one.
