Quiver is amazing.

Just bought this for my Adv Skin 12. The quiver is great. When I went to attach it I noticed that the loop on the vest used to secure the bottom of the quiver was not stitched properly and just fell off the vest. The botched stitching was obviously over looked because it looked fine when you glance at it but when I tugged on it the loop just pulled right out of the seam it was supposed to be stitched into. Because the vest is just over two years Solomon would not do anything about it even though it was a production issue. I have to go get it professionally stitched myself. You would think a company that makes such great products would stand behind something like that, but they don’t.

Quiver, perhaps not for me.

Bought as a bit of a try and having tried twice with them on short 10km hill running, I can’t seem to get along with them. Three stars; quality and product is faultless as expected from brand Salomon but I can’t seem to get the fit and balance right. Speaking to others, I think using a pole Quiver is a bit ‘marmite’. You either like it or don’t and I regret it’s the latter for me. Nothing against the design it’s just personal preference. Recommend yes as an option try, as you never know.

Great retention, tricky to get poles out

When the poles are stored in the quiver, you won't even know you're wearing anything. Very comfortable. I removed 1 star because it takes a lot of practice and some luck to quickly and consistently remove both poles from the quiver. They like to get caught and pull the material at the bottom. If the bottom of the quiver was more rigid, perhaps this issue could be solved. I am very satisfied with the comfort and overall retention though. Poles: Black Diamond distance carbon Z 120cm

Lightweight, functional.

I bought this for some longer trail races this year. My Nathan hydration pack didn't have the necessary loops to fit the quiver, but my wife sewed added them in less than twenty minutes and it fit perfectly. I used it for a 9 hour rugged race. I was able to reach over my shoulder to remove and replace my sticks without taking off my pack. No bounce. Lightweight. Exactly what I needed.

Fantastic accessory!

I bought this after struggling to draw and stow my poles using the regular bungees under my ADV Skin vest. This led to me underutilizing my poles. This quiver is perfect and allows me to draw/stow my poles in an instant, with little effort. I sometimes need to guide my poles in a bit, but once they’re in, they don’t move around and I can barely even feel them.

Excellent addition to my running gear!

I’ve been struggling for years to find a good place to store poles when I wasn’t using them, often just carrying them in my hands. But for long runs when you have hours where they may not be needed, hanging onto your poles can wear on you. This quiver is great - easy to store, easy to retrieve, and you barely know it’s back there.

Quick and simple

An easy way to carry the poles that isn’t super awkward. The poles feel stable w minimal bounce to the point where it’s not really noticeable. They do take a little practice to get yours poles into (and will make you realize if you have differences in your range of motion). Easy worth the price to have an easy option for poles.

Quiver is the best

This is a fabulous accessory for my hydration pack. I use it all the time. If I don’t need my poles, it doesn’t matter because it’s hidden behind me and I don’t even notice it’s there. If I use my poles, it’s super easy to get them out of and back into the quiver. Well worth the very low cost investment.
