Really nice sun shirt, great for hiking, biking, or just wearing around. The medium fit me well, even though I usually wear large shirts. It's a pretty snug fit, but not too tight. The sleeve length is excellent. I have relatively long arms and the sleeves are plenty long, with enough length to use the thumb holes and still have room to move. The fabric is nice - lightweight and comfortable. Being polyester, though, I wonder about the shirt holding odors after multiple uses such as during a camping or backpacking trip. I also like the chest pocket, which is well made and seems durable. It's handy for small, lightweight items; I wouldn't want to put anything bulky or heavy in it. Really my only gripe is that the thumb holes are somewhat small and thus made for a tight fit, which gets a little uncomfortable after wearing for a while. Overall, a solid option for lightweight, breathable sun protection. Comfortable, easy to move in, not too tight and not too baggy.
There is a lot to like about this shirt but one major flaw.Starting with the the good, oh so comfortable. It is very light breezy. The fabric feels soft and nice on skin, and it breathes well in the sun, not feeling to warm even when in the sun. The fatal flaw is the sleeves. They are huge. I consider myself to have pretty normal arm length, but these were so long. I compared it to my other sunshirts and the sleeves are a full 2 inches longer than most of them. Maybe if there was a tighter elastic on the cuff bit that doesn’t fit the free flow style. I felt like I was my hands and arms were swimming. Again I think I am of pretty normal proportions. I’m not saying this can’t be a good shirt just highly advise trying on in store and not trusting normal sizing and ordering on online.
Liking my new light brown Patagonia sun shirt. Light weight, nice fit, comfortable and great color. I’m a big guy and this shirt still is very comfy. Great for fishing, hiking or general outside activities.
