I’ve owned this for a little over a month in NH spring weather, so it’s seen cold temps and hot temps. In the upper 30s w/ very little wind, I am fine moving in just this shirt. It is just enough to take the edge off while breathing very well. If it’s colder or there’s a breeze, I’m good with this and maybe a light soft shell or Houdini. If I am in the trees on a calm day, this gets stuffy by upper 50s or so, where I am more comfortable in a t-shirt. It does cool you well if there’s a breeze. I plan to wear it out west on glaciers or above treeline in the Whites. I am also going to try paddle boarding in it. The hood is awesome and covers great. I like that you can button it for more coverage and it hangs forward enough to protect my face. I prefer to wear it with a hat to keep it up a bit. Sizing is spot on for me, it’s a bit trim without hugging too much and the sleeve length is excellent per usual with Patagonia.
