Knockaround  High Stakes Polarized Sunglasses

This is my second pair of High Stakes, I still have the all black smoke, just really liked the gold lens and K logo on these..perfect for sunny weather. Reasonably priced as well. Makes it easy to create a collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I struggle with most Knockaround frames as they seem to be designed for much flatter faces than mine. In almost every casual frame but the Torrey Pines, I can see a significant reflection of my cheeks in the lens which effectively reduces the clarity and causing significant distraction. The High Stakes have MUCH more "wrap" and fit so much closer to the face that this issue is all but gone resulting in perfect clear view with no reflections or distractions. The downside is (there is always one) that the frames fit so well to my brow, they fog easily on hot days or during physical activity such as running. Overall my favorite functional shades from Knockaround to date!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work well to keep the sun out, being wrap arounds. I like the brighter look with the amber lenses, as well as the non-slip nose pads and rubberized ear grips. They also fit nice and snug. However, a couple of nits:1. The large hinge blocks my blind spots when driving, which is the main reason I bought them. I have to turn my head extra far.2. They arrived slightly bent. When laying them on the table top-down, one of the ear grips doesn't lay flat, it sits about 1/4 inch off the table. Not too noticeable when wearing them, but annoying nonetheless. Trying to bend them into shape has not worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these sunglasses! I have a couple pair of Fort Knox Knocks which I really like. I saw that these offered anti saltwater coating and the rubberized ear grips so I thought I'd try them. Glad I did! I sweat a lot and these start in place perfectly. I can't wait to try it the anti saltwater on my next trip to Florida. I highly recommend these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rocked these glasses all weekend while coaching my son's baseball team. Had them on all day Saturday and again all day Sunday. Never pinched and never got uncomfortable. Would highly recommend for long wears!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite shades are wrap around and I lost them!!!!! Luckily Knockaround makes these awesome glasses and I have a new favorite pair again. The green venom is a great color as well.

I wear $50 sunglasses so I don't expect perfect optics, but these have the worst optics I've ever had in a new pair of sunglasses. Junk. Messed up a trip. They will be returned.
