Great backpack for everyday use going to work as well as any snowsports activity. Back pack is replacing a northface pack I’ve had for 12 years and the MH as exceeded expecations. I snowboard 60 days a year and this pack fits everything I need if I wear the pack riding. Shovel and probe fit nicely. Clips hold snowshoes and board and are easy to use. Expandable side zipper pockets fit water bottle, extra gloves, snacks, headlamp etc. easy to access when wearing pack. Main zippered pocket holds shell, emergency first aid kit, extra layers with room to spare. Feels nice on body when full. I’m 5’8 175lbs athletic build and it fits comfortably. Backpack feels sturdy and durable.
I love this backpack, but how does diagonal carry work?? There does not appear to be a top loop. There aren’t any instructions for it and all of the videos online just say “wow, diagonal carry loop!” What about the top loop?
Exactly like the video. Perfect size for the slopes. Haven’t tried carrying skis yet. Helmet holder is great. Pockets are excellent and highly functional.
Great back for weekend trip or just a day hike. Have used it as well when I go to the office with laptop, etc
The Gnarwhal is amazing for the quality, looks, and great for a commuter.
