Ready for Winter
I like the design, I usually buy 10W, so I read these run relatively narrow, so I bought size 11. Size 11 is only slightly narrow in the towes, but since I don't plan on wearing a thick sock in these, I will probably keep the 11's.
Solid Boots, Solid Price !
This brand is a little confusing, almost all of their line say they run small but the yukon runs large.. I read reviews that stated both. I wear a 10 to 10.5 and ordered the 11 and fits almost perfectly. Yes a little tight in the toe ridge but nothing that should heep me from using them for snow work. Long walks might not be in the picture though. The boots are built solid and I like the quality of the leather. They seem warm ,but I have field tested them yet. For the price they are a solid deal for sure. Very happy with the purchase price of these made in Canada boots.
ok winter boots
I got these boots online because they were on sale at a price I could not pass up and I have had good experience with Baffins in the past. These boots feel heavy and clunky almost like clown shoes so if you plan on walking in these stay away. More like shoveling snow in the driveway with it. They say the sizing runs large and to size down but in my experience they run small especially if you have wide feet because the boot is narrow. I went with a size 9 which is my normal size though I could fit in a 10 as well.
Great winter boots
I am a size 11 although very occasionally wear 11.5. Ordered size down as recommeded and was too small. Size 11 was great for me. Appear to be well made. Used them while snowblowing tonite (literally minutes after they were delivered) and on a 7 degree F evening they were hot while snowblowing. Awesome! And made in Canada!
Okay for price on sale
Bought for regular casual snow use. They feel okay. Run a half size small. Normal a 9 so ordered a 10. Fits well enough but now a half size maybe bigger than I like. Still will keep. With heavier socks will fit well enough. Have other boots that are better for hiking or snowshoeing. I received boots size 10 but one boot had a size 11 liner in it. REI sent me a new pair right away and free shipping on the miss matched pair back…
