To be up front, it's not a bad knife. It's got a strange shaped blade and the handle is a little bit small. The sheath is were it really lets me down. Never in my life have I seen anyone carry a knife horizontally on their belt. Vertical carry is the preferred method and with this knife there is no option for that. So it's not every day carry, which I use a Barrage for. According to Benchmade it is billed as an outdoor knife. When I go into the mountains I want something bigger, more robust like the Bushcrafter. I also have my garbage knife which has been around, my CRKT M16. The Dacian has the fatal flaw of not having a place in a knife collection.
