Great portable towel
My wife and I needed a portable towel for a scuba diving trip so we gave the Pack Towl a try. The towel has a nice feel and it folds up nicely in the included travel bag. My wife and I were both able to dry off with one towel so we were impressed with its performance. I was a little disappointed with how long it took for the towel to drip dry but that may have something to do with the high humidity with the region we were in.

Doesn't dry quick and attracts dry plant material
The first time we used this we were amazed how heavy the towel got...yes, it can absorb tons of water. But even after an hour of sitting in direct, hot sun, it wasn't dry. Then, we made the mistake of sitting on the grass with it and it is now filled with dry grass bits that are embedded into the waffle weave and can only be pulled out with tweezers. A regular towel would be better.

Light, soft Great towel.

I bought this for Airventure in Oshkosh WI Where I stayed for 5 days. Showered in the morning and towel was dry by the afternoon. Great addition to my camping gear.

Great camping Towel

I have other camping towels that work fine but the Luxe towel works well and has a nice feel to it. I use it at the pool, lake, river, etc. It dries you off nicely but takes a bit longer to dry than the thinner camping towels. It is definitely worth getting.

Abrasive fabric

The towel works fine for drying off but don't use it on a swim mask or goggles. It scratched my new swim mask badly.

My favorite camping towel

I've tried many different brands of camping/travel towels, and this one is my favorite. It comes the closest to feeling like a real towel, absorbs well, and the "body" size is a great size, similar to a typical bath towel. Dries fairly quickly. My wife hates camping towels because of how they feel. This one is literally the only one she'll use, so that says a lot.

Heavier and slower to dry than expected

This is much more like a regular towel in weight and time to dry than I expected a camp towel to be. I made the mistake of grabbing the Luxe, I think the non-Luxe "Personal" PackTowel is closer to what I was expecting. This would be fine for car camping or probably as a beach towel, but I think I'll get a lighter/smaller/faster drying towel for actual camping.

Towel

we knew we would be doing a lot of swimming. For that reason we brought something on the larger side. This towel was perfect for that. The feel of this towel is amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is a little heavy. But hey, it's all a tradeoff. The extra weight was worth it!
