Useless - Don't buy!
I find this item absolutely useless. There is no additional support from the side except for some more padding. But its just flapping around instead of supporting the baby's head when bouncing from side to side. Also there's no more padding on the three lower straps, only for the shoulder straps. And since the lower part of the seat kind of folds inwards by its own when there's no baby in the seat, as seen on the pictures above, putting your baby in there needs some extra fumbling to adjust the snuggler so the baby doesn't sit on the side paddings. C'mon guys, you can do better! This item needs a complete overhaul! Until then, don't waste your money on this thing!
works well
Tried using the bike trailer with our 4-5 month old with the standard seat our Burley came with and his head just wasnt supported enough to feel safe to continue using. The smuggler changed that and laid him back so his head didn’t bounce around and lean heavily to one side when he fell asleep. He is now 16 months and still using it. Will try the original seat soon.
Great for getting kiddos out there
We loved using this to take our newest adventurer out in the bike trailer. I was not a huge fan of the fabric as it seemed very warm during the humid summer months, but the baby didn't seem to mind as much as I thought he should. We used it for about 4 months with our kiddo and it definitely helped us feel comfortable getting him out on the bike sooner. Definitely use your discretion when it comes to how your kid fits in it, and have a good time out there!

Worked great in our old Burley.
Used this in a hand-me-down burley trailer with our 5 mo. Easy install and worked well for 6 mi walks. No actual straps or buckles come with it, just uses the stroller's. The insert (and baby) tended to slouch without anything to keep them in place. But head was supported and a bundled blanket could be used to keep the baby better positioned if desired.
Great materials, awkward fit
I'm a little torn on the Baby Snuggler. On the plus side, it is extremely well made and the fabric feels fantastic for our little one. What I don't like is how it doesn't create a comfortable looking fit. It looks like it squeezes in on our baby; it literally looks like it's giving her a bear hug and not necessarily in a comfortable way. Obviously she can't talk, so I left this a middle of the rode score because I don't know yet if she really likes it or not.

I use this insert in other strollers not just the Burley trailer we have. All that I can really say is that Burley products are expensive but the quality is unsurpassed in my opinion. It will be up to the individual if they feel the price is worth the products they received but for me and my family....we wouldn't buy anything other than Burley.
Very soft nice material but....
I just got out first bike trailer, the d’lite and also ordered the baby snuggler for our 2-1/2 month old grandson. After assembling the d’lite (double) we installed the snuggler. It is very soft and well made. But our grandson was not really supported very much as I envisioned. So took him out and put him in the other side (no BS) and he appeared to be supported no differently than using the BS. I expected to see the head supported. None of us could see any advantage so we boxed it back up and are returning it. It actually made it a little more difficult to set our grandson in due to it folding in on the leg area. Fit the d’lite, this really is a waste of money and effort. I suspect maybe a cheaper model trailer with cheaper seat belts it may have some merit. My recommendation is to NOT waste any hard earned cash on this product and instead up grade your choice if trailer to one that already has the upgraded seats as what comes with the d’lite model.
Started using it when my
Started using it when my son was 4 months old. Seems sufficient. I would have wanted more structure, but not sure of that is needed. 4-5 month old sits in it without complaint for at least an hour walk. My 4 yo can ride next to the baby and doesn’t squeeze into him too much.
Appropriately named!
We love our baby snuggler insert! Our 12 month old was shifting around in our Burley Bee trailer uncomfortably and crying on rides. This is exactly what we needed to give her a comfortable and supportive ride - it's all smiles and snoozes now!
