Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great practical trailer, so far... I got this trailer a month ago and have logged at least 50 miles on it on city roads and paved trails. It handles "tracks" wells. You do have to remain form alert of your path specially when you turn, but on a straight line the trailer even feels light. Comfort wise, I think is okay. My 2.5 year old/27 pounds seems to like riding in it. I can only give it four stars because: 1. It's expensive, 2. can't comment on durability yet. The materials seemed of good quality and the frame is sturdy, I only carry one child so am not sure how it would handle at weight capacity. The only issue that I have notice is that when a child wears a helmet it pushes their head forward as the seat backing does not have a cavity to accommodate a helmet, something that the higher models may have. Not quite a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. Overall, I really like it, especially the color. I plan on keeping it even after my child outgrows it. Definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Design! I bought this last fall so I could continue to ride with my 2 year old son (another one coming and can't wait to get both of them out). I can be set up and ready to ride in 1-2 minutes and the ride is incredibly smooth. One of the great features of the Honey Bee is that it easily converts to a stroller. In fact, the stroller itself is as good a ride as any stroller we've tried. The ride is smooth, lots of storage, and folds up for easy travel. The only negative to the product is the inability to use some of the other attachments that Burley offers (running stroller wheel, ski attachment, etc.). I can't wait for when they release those things for this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trailer and "Around Town" Stroller So far, the Honey Bee has been great! We've used it a few times a week since purchasing it a few weeks ago and it's been well received by us and our children. We've also used the stroller function a few times for the local markets and it's been wonderful. Hook-up is easy, storage is easy and it has a great cargo area for extra stuff on a long trips (read: kids snacks and clothes).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy I have about a year with my Burley Honey Bee. It's light and comfy for my boys ages 3 and 1. Love the storage space in the back. We use it as a bike trailer and as a stroller. It's great in cool weather because we close it and the kids are completely comfortable with a blanket inside. The only disappointment is that I wish I would have upgraded to the reclining Burley. My 1 year old always falls asleep on bike rides and his head gets in terrible positions. It also does not have a sunshade like the other models. I have to put a towel in the front when we face the sun to give the kids shade. Besides that, it's great and I get a lot of compliments from other parents. I end up feeling like a spokes person for Burley when I tell them about all the specs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easier to pull than I ever imagined! We have taken the burley out 3 - 4 times and love it! We bought a second attachment piece so there is one on both my husband and I's bike, this makes it easy to switch who is pulling. I was worried it didn't have a sun strip but that hasn't been a problem. I am very happy with the quick release on the wheels. It fits in the car top box or I can put a seat down in my Subaru Outback and put that with a bike in the trunk. I do wish it would recline a bit, even though there is a helmet "bucket" my daughter (29 months) looks uncomfortable with her head tilted forward. She doesn't complain though; and she is more than capable of letting us know when she is uncomfortable. She seems to love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great economical Burley option After reading many online reviews, I selected the Burley Honey Bee. I was looking for something that versatile, affordable and also safe. The Honey Bee met all three objectives. The only disappointment is the of the tubes. You would think that with a product like Burley, they would swing for a better tube. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with my purchase. My family is stopped all the time while we are riding are bikes by people wanting to know what type of trailer we have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only one with every feature we were looking for After LOT's of research, the Honey Bee was the only bike trailer that had everything we wanted which was; safety, storage, spoked bicycle wheels (not plastic), easy on / off of the bike & easy transition from trailer to stroller so we can park the bikes and go shopping. Assembly was easy & quality seems top notch, we have not had any issues after a month of riding. It was double the price of another trailer we liked, however in my opinion it was the best value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth Ride I am very impressed with the ease of setup and takedown of the Honey Bee. My 8-month-old son seems comfortable while riding, even on gravel paths! There is a ton of storage space for toys, blankets and extra layers. My only concern was when we had finished our ride, we noticed small particles of sand and slipped through the mesh on the front of the trailer and left my son sandy inside. Again, this was on a gravel path, so it was more of a user error.

Will this trailer hook-up with my Giant 29er?

Asked by: Jim Bob Miller
I can't say for certain as I'm not an expert and we have 27.5, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The trailer attaches to your rear axle on one side (vice surrounding your rear wheel). Per the user manual: "Remove quick-release or nut from the left side of bike’s rear wheel axle. Install hitch between quick-release or nut and frame. Tighten the quick-release or nut following manufacturer’s recommendation." From what I can tell, it doesn't state it has to be used with a certain size bike, so I think you'd be fine with a 29.
