Best Man Bag I've Ever Owned
I have the black version. It's sophisticated enough for work but casual enough for any occasion. I use it every day for work and it fits my Surface Pro 4 very nicely. My favorite thing about this bag is that it's small and compact. You can use the two straps below to cinch it flat. The shoulder strap is strong and of good quality. I take my computer everywhere with me so I needed a bag that wasn't bulky that looked good with everything on any occasion. Despite this bag's small size it fits many of my essential work gear. I'm able to fit my Surface pro 4, DSLR camera, a rain coat, notebook, water bottle, document folders, and more. This has easily become my favorite bag.
Perfect for travel
I originally got this as a briefcase for my 13-inch MacBook Air; most messenger bags and briefcases are way too big. I recently used it as my carry-on travel bag. It was perfect - easy to carry, pockets internal and external that hold everything in place, and easily fits under a plane seat, even in those small regional jets. I did add a removable shoulder strap pad from another bag for a little more comfort on those long slogs through the airports. Last week my wife bought me an iPad Pro (the larger one) for my birthday. It has replaced my Air, but this bag is a perfect fit for the iPad, too. It is my everyday briefcase/travel bag/carry bag.
All-purpose and functional
I used the 2014 version of this bag (few changes made since then) on a 9 month tour through SE Asia and Europe. It was amazing! Kept dry through moderate rain, big enough to hold a day's worth of gear and more due to the adjustable length of the outer clips. I've also used it a lot for biking and love the large reflective decal on the outer flap. I've used it for work as well and the computer sleeve fits my laptop and elevates it a few inches from the bottom of the bag so my computer is safe and I place it a little too harshly on the ground. The envelope sleeve on the back keeps documents handy at the airport, the front zipper works for quick grab items like keys, etc. This bag is my go to bag for everything and has held up with no problems through a year of almost daily use.
Surprising Bag
I bought this bag to haul 'stuff' into a ball park that has new restrictions on bag sizes. I needed a bag and this was on sale, like 30% off. That the primary deciding factor for the purchase. Didn't have to be. This has turned out to be a room bag, capable of handling a lot of stuff. I carry one camera in it (lens mounted), an extra lens, umbrella, small towel, small telescope, notebook, pens, sharpies, first aid supplies (pain reliever, band aids mostly), and an iPad. Oh, and from time to time a couple of baseballs. A Kleen Kanteen goes in the external pocket. An there is room for more. I'm so impressed with this bag I'm considering buying a second (at full price) to use as my "Walking Man" photography kit.
AlzCare!
Bought for travel and commuting. Fits my 13" MacBook nicely and securely. Easy access makes airport security a breeze. It looks like a super slim bag but it is amazing how much can be put into it when needed. All pockets are thoughtfully designed and are easy to access without a hitch. On my last cross-country plane trip I had my laptop, 5x8 planner, paperback book, another 8x11 notebook, a small toiletry bag, phone, cables, a sandwich, 3 food bars, a camelback water bottle and a pack of kleenex.
Ultimate Diaper Bag
We purchased this after a friend had great experiences using it as a diaper bag for their little one. I know this is probably not a use most people think of, but the bag holds so much in a little space and organizes so easily. It has turned out to be an awesome little baby go bag and very durable. I'm now looking at getting another for my work commute.
Perfect work bag
I bought this bag to use at work and I could not be happier! Not only does it look great, it has a ton of function. There are plenty of pockets for accessories and a laptop compartment (website says 13 inch laptops only but I am able to use my 14 inch laptop, probably won't fit a 15 inch). Highly recommend to anyone looking for a compact bag for work or school that can fit a lot of things into it. Keep it mind it is compact, if you're looking for something larger look at the Patagonia Headway Brief 22L (the Headway 22L is significantly larger).
Everything but the water bottle.
Works great for what I want except the inside pocket adjacent to the water bottle can't be used if you even put a 1 pint Camelbak eddy, which is all that will fit, in the outside water bottle pocket. One useless inside pocket isn't worth returning it. I just always wonder if people who design bags actually ever use them. Other than that it's a good bag that keeps it's shape even with just a few things in it.
My new favorite bag
This has been my daily-use bag for about a year now. I got this bag so I could have something bigger than a purse, smaller than a backpack, would hold everything I need throughout a typical day, and wouldn't get in my way while commuting on a motorcycle. The cup pocket fits my insulated Klean Kanteen wide mouth perfectly. I'm pretty rough and demanding with my equipment and this bag looks almost as good as when I got it...several rain storms, sun, snow, and several thousand miles on my back later. The many internal pockets are icing on the cake.
Good bag, mostly
This bag works for the reasons that other reviewers have mentioned. Smallish, yet large enough for a 13" laptop or pad and file folders plus misc. stuff, ample pockets, and the back outside pocket is really handy for flight or rental car info, etc. But. The bottle pocket must have been designed and approved by someone who never uses one. The upper portion of the pocket is made of a stretch material, which is good, but the bottom half is the same material as the rest of the bag and is not large enough in circumference. No stretch. This means that many bottles, very popular ones such as Hydro Flask, or even a small Power Aid bottle, won't slide into the pocket without effort and then, because there isn't enough pocket material, space is stolen from the side of the bag itself. Example: my wife had loaded hers with things, including a pill bottle on the inside side pocket, adjacent to the bottle pocket. Her Hydro Flask wouldn't fit. The pill bottle wasn't bulging outward, but was taking up the proper volume of the body of the pack. This is a case of design limiting function. Not quite a deal breaker, but......
