functions perfectly
I bought a similar product last year, and lost it. I went for the updated version, and found that the little rubber gaskets that control the adjustability of the wire have been re-designed to be super low-profile. Now it doesn't catch on my bike helmet or my life jacket. The rubber gaskets that hold onto the ear pieces of my glasses stick like glue. A great product!

Wire Chums
Tried these wire chums a few times with different activities - hiking, birding, skiing, however, found the wire was too inflexible and pushed my glasses around on my face. Went back to my soft glass retainers.

Wire came loose

They were great the first time I used them. Unfortunately, the left wire pulled free of the rubber connector the second time I used them. If not for that, they would have been great.

pretty good

I wear these all the time. I used to wear the neoprene Croakies for running , but felt a little silly wearing them in the office. Chums are much less noticeable. The only downside is that they don't adjust enough to make them snug on my head. Other heads may not have that issue. I still love them.

Quality Product with a Minor Complaint

I'm using these on a pair of Oakley sunglasses and they appear to be high quality and work well overall. The rubber push-on attachments secure well to the arms and the cable looks like it will last a long time. My only complaint is that the cable is too rigid and protrudes back rather than dropping to your neck. This bugs me a bit when driving because I can feel it hitting the headrest.

Broke week one

Good adjustable design keeps lanyard off of your neck and it fits snugly on sunglasses. However, the wire separated from the rubber attachment piece in less than one week of owning.

keeps my glasses on my face!

I had to suddenly wear my eyeglasses for a month, normally wear contacts, and I'm an athlete. No way would they stay on my face with sweating. Regular chums for sunglasses were way too bulky, but These are slim, unobtrusive, barely noticeable and fully adjustable (although a teeny bit large for my head at their tightest setting). I love these!!

Low Profile

I've used this product backpacking and rock climbing, it's super low profile and snug on the glasses. Highly recommend!

Chic!

I love this. It's thin enough that you don't really see it hanging around your neck. It's short enough so that it doesn't dangle too far down, just about a third of the way from the chin. I have had some longer ones that gets in the way when I bend to pick something up.

makes holding your reading glasses hands free

My mother was very happy with the purchase to help her from losing her reading glasses. I'd consider them as well for rafting over the summer.
