Rated 5 out of 5 by from like them so well I bought a new pair I have a pair of these that are in their 5th season, and I like them so well I bought a new pair. The last is 2mm wider I think, which I should like and the walk mode has more range of motion. My current boots have Conformable foam liners, which really hold my heels down well, and they have not broken down yet, so they should work in the new shells. I think the stock liners are now heat moldable which my old stock liners were not, so they should last longer than my old stock liners did (1year) before they pack out. I have some spinal cord issues which require a tight heel pocket, hence the foam liners. This issue may have led to the premature demise of the stock liners. These boots should work well for all but the most aggressive skiers, who might want a 130 flex. They are as responsive as a non-walk mode boot with the same flex characteristics, and work well in all conditions, though I don't climb in them. The walk mode is great for any kind of walking and the ability to put a tech toe and heel on instead of a DIN toe and heel is an added benefit. Some people have said they may leak, I have never experienced leakage.

What's the difference b/w this model and the new model? This shoe is also compatible with Tech bindings right? new model link:

These boots are nearly identical; the newer boot has some color updates as well as buckle shape; the Triax 3.0 shell is a lighter material.
