Great potential but misses the mark
Lightweight and comfortable. Many features were really well considered, especially for traveling (use as one backpack, two separate backpacks, or one backpack and one roller bag. Ingenious. Rolls very smoothly and build quality is fantastic. Wears comfortably with lots of adjusting options. But it has some design flaws that rule it completely out for me. Most importantly, it does not stand up unless you pack all your weight on the wheel side. But with a small laptop in the smaller pack, that's impossible and over it goes or prevents you from using two hands in security line. Watch your fingers if you extend the telescoping handle with one hand while holding the handle with the other (like when you enter the jetway without stopping). Really, it's lack of stability as a roller bag is my showstopper...
wouldn't purchase again
I have been traveling the world for a little while & still my biggest hassle is this bag. It has a lot of "dead space" bc of the frame/ design of the bag. its carry on size with the from detached. The bag is really heavy in its own, so when using budget airlines its not even possible to carry on the bag, which is annoying bc i purchased it for carry on purposes. Most allow 7kg or max or 10kg... the bag is already almost 3kg empty. My biggest annoyance is the fact that it falls over ALL.THE.TIME it should be able to stand up without falling over, when packed correctly, but it doesn't.

Lots of options as roller, backpack, or both
As many reviews have noted, the bag does tend to tip over if it's not packed correctly. Pros: + LOVE the bright green lining. Makes for a happy feel each time I open the bag or the backpack. + VERY light . I compared this to the Osprey Meridian which was a lot bulkier. My choice is for lightweight. + Convertible daypack is very nice size as a day bag and very well organized. Lots of pockets for laptop, tablet sleeve, separate top pocket, front organizer, additional hidden pocket, side bottle pockets, etc. + Daypack is also pretty comfortable. Other than lacking compression straps, it's practically equivalent to other Osprey backpacks selling for $65+. + Streamline design, simple, yet attractive. + Adjustable torso length back panel on roller bag. Many other convertible bags have backpanels for fixed torso length. Wrong back size makes for uncomfortable weight carry. The adjustable torso back panel was number 1 reason I went with Osprey. Cons: - Tips over easily when loaded. Be sure to load heavy things in the bag. Can counter the weight imbalance with something heavier in the backstrrap section. It is a big section with lots of empty space. - Bag interior feels a bit small when opened because the backpack strap + wheel handle compartment takes up quite a bit of room. (Alternatively, you can also add things to the compartment to compensate). - NO compression straps on bag or front backpack. Osprey, come on!!! - Mesh compartment could do with some organisation options. The Meridian has a more robust interior design. Why is the Ozone so lacking?
Perfect Bag for my Wife
We do a lot of weekend trips and I'm always the one carrying in the bags. I have an Osprey Ozone 46L backpack, that I am very happy with, and wanted to get something similar for my wife. I can now slide the handle from this bag through the strap of my other bag and roll everything, when before I had to carry multiple bags. Before she was using a duffle bag from Victoria Secret and a couple trader joes paper bags, we've managed to fit that all into this one bag. It's much better organized, easier to get to what you want without digging through too much. It's relatively light, though if we ever did use it as a backpack, I'd have her carry my lighter bag, while I carry this one. We're going to take an 11 day trip with nothing but our two bags, which means no having to check bags at the airports and I'm not worried at all about if it can hold everything we'd need.
Perfect for me!
This was recommended to me by a friend who constantly travels across the country by plane and train and who makes frequent international trips. He puts a lot of wear and tear into it, and it's held up really well. I'm glad he recommended it. I've found it perfect for long and short trips by various modes of transport. It is easy to use and maneuver, comfortable to carry, and packs well. I frequently use the daypack on its own. I can see how someone who's really tall might find the handle to be a bit short, but this isn't an issue for me.

Great Bag For international travel
I fantastic bag. Highly recommended. I bought this bag to solve a specific problem. Because of trip length, I find myself moving (trying to maneuver) two or three wheeled bags from train stations to hotels along cobblestone streets in Europe. The ability to convert my new carry-on to a backpack frees both hands for dragging other bags. For domestic flights, the fact that my carry-on has very efficient wheels makes for a very flexible piece of travel kit. The zipper-off day pack is a spectacular feature.

Loved it except for one major flaw... returned it :(
Loved most everything about this pack. Very lightweight but sturdy. Very ergnomical and comfortable to carry by wheels or as pack. I used the smaller detachable for my computer and "briefcase" stuff. Attaching that to the main pack is genius (though the zipper action can be quite difficult when packed somewhat full). The ONLY real reason I returned this is using the setup as a roller bag, you just cannot have a bag that won't stand up on it's own. That was my deal breaker.

Not enough capacity
The day pack is amazing, light and easy to organize. The carry-on bag has a small capacity; making it difficult to pack for a 1 week trip or more. It does tip over like mentioned in other reviews however the basic straps are doing the job. I bought it for travelling and I travel with it twice but stopped using it because I would restrain my capacity of items to bring on the trip (and the souvenir items). :( I'm still using the smaller bag everyday as a daypack. :)

Mixed bag - some things good, some surprisingly not
Pros: v nice smooth rolling travel bag. Enough compartments w good quality zippers. Form factor will also stowing in plane overhead in smaller spaces than others like it. Was able to stow the bag under seat in front in a small commuter jet when short connection time was paramount. Now for the Cons. Inexplicably for an experienced pack manufacturer there are way too few compression straps so the loaded pack flops about away from the frame and handle. So much so that when loaded the pack tends to tip over, not because of lots of weight but only because the center of gravity is too far away from the frame. He handle: while it looks cool and seems it might be ergonomic it is anything but. It feels v awkward in my hand by splitting my fingers to wrap around the handle. But for the light weight and form factor I would likely return this pack.

Really The Perfect Bag for us
The description states it accurately The bag is perfect size and shape but you must pack it like a backpacker which we are, heaviest stuff nearest the back fame its only logical or it will tip forward more easily. Its not a real problem. We have used all of its features extensively and tried others over the years this is by far our favorite. We are professional travelers for business and pleasure but we are light weight fast track A types.
