Excellent all rounder

An update on the final mileage for the rear. The rear lasted just over 2000 miles. Noticed this morning that the tread had worn through on the rear. The front still is in good shape. Planning to replace the rear with the same type and get another 2000 miles in. I had a total of three flats over 2000 miles. Not too bad for my usual commute. I got fewer flats with these than Gatorskins. Probably bad luck with the Gatorskins, but I like the feel of the Grandsport Race better anyway.

Nice handling reliable tire

I have 1500 miles on this set of Grand Sport Race tires. They handle well, good grip, smooth transitions. At this point the rear is squared off so not as good as new. I've had a few flats, but nothing more than usual. I ride the bicycle lanes so screws, nails and staples are the norm. A better handling tire than a puncture resistant one like the gatorskins. I'm going to run the rear as far as it will go just to see.
