Perfect sunglasses for on the water
These glasses are my must have and must use for anything on or near the water. The polarization gives a much clearer view of surroundings by tamping down the reflections and the full coverage of the frame creates a large field of view. I wore them white water rafting recently and they stick incredibly well to the head.
Lightweight with great lenses
I was excited to try Suncloud glasses. I have seen them in stores and they looked good. It was interesting that these actually came from Smith Optics. I am actually a brand ambassador for Smith so I was even more interested in how these compare to the Smith brand. A quick google confirmed that Suncloud is actually a Smith brand. As for the glasses. Lens - These are very nice. Clear, polarized. Very similar to what I expect from Smith. Frames are matt black and basic plastic. Not really something that would stay on my face well while running or cycling, but fine for driving around town and non-exercise activities. I was disappointed that the noise piece slips around a lot. There is a small soft plastic pad embedded in it but it is not enough to provide any grip. Overall they are fine sunglasses, if they fit your face well then you will enjoy them.
Great pair of Shades
Suncloud Milestone Polarized Sunglasses are excellent sunglasses. They come in a nice case (a cloth bag that can be used for cleaning and doesn’t take up space). They are incredibly lightweight. They fit well even though I have a smaller head. They look a little wide on my face, but they fit well and don’t fall off during activities, so I’m ok with it. The sides wrap around a bit to help block the sun from coming through the sides. They do a good job cutting down reflections on the water. Good for when I’m paddle boarding, any other water activities, and hiking.
Great for Outdoor Adventures
I’m not normally the type of person that wears wraparound sunglasses, so I was kind of skeptical about these ones and was thinking that I wouldn’t like them; however, I was proved wrong. These sunglasses are great for anyone that goes on outdoor adventures. They had wide open lenses that gave you great line of sight with no obstructions, the wraparound design protects your eyes from sun rays coming in from the sides, and one of the best parts about these glasses is that the frames are light and flexible so they seem to be able to withstand anything. Pleasantly surprised.
Comfortable and Effective
I've always had a tendency to destroy any sunglasses I've owned, but this is a pair I'm much more careful with due to how comfortable they are and how effective they are in blocking the sunlight. I use these primarily when I go running, and the snug but soft fit means that they aren't jostling around, nor are they pinching my nose and leaving marks. The polarization renders a crystal-clear view through the lenses that also are effective in blocking out the sun, but more importantly, the quality of the lenses are high enough for me to still be able to see clearly when running on trails, specifically when transitioning between patches of shade and sunlight. I'd definitely recommend these sunglasses for both casual-wear as well as outdoor activities of all stripes.
Suncloud OPtics Milestone Polarized sunglasses
My wife bought these for my birthday in july 2016. The lens must be really soft. They are so scratched on one lens from towels being (3) being stacked on them on the way home from a 7 minute drive. Now I have had several pairs of similiar (hobie) and they lasted until they finally broke, without scratches and thousands of beach trips (surfing family). I also use these everyday as i commute everyday all day for my work (Sales). I tried to reach out Suncloud Optics to talk with them about the sunglasses but was hung up on (from Hold) because they were too busy?? Maybe too many scratched lenses??
Great sunglasses for everyday use
I’ve tested these sunglasses on a few hikes, lake outing and on my commute. They have a lightweight fit that makes them easy to wear for many hours. The polarized lenses work well for sunny days and water. The cloth case that came with the glasses is fine for preventing scratches, but is not sturdy enough for them to be left loose in a bag. Overall a solid, comfortable and stylish sunglasses for activities.
Excellent Lightweight Pair of Sunglasses!
Great pair of polarized sunglasses. I tend to think this frame style looks "heavier" on a person's face, but I was pleasantly surprised as to how lightweight they felt on my face. They felt great for all day wear, while providing good eye protection all around (with a little side protection from the frame). The polarized lenses work well. Overall, these sunglasses feel great for all-around usage. The only minor con I can mention is that hats I wore sometimes knocked into the frame behind my ears, but I think that's more due to the specific frame style. I am an average sized male that feels more comfortable with "wider" glasses frames and this pair seemed to fit that bill as it never felt tight behind my ears right from the box.
Stylish and Functional
I love these sunglasses. I decided I needed better quality sunglasses with UV protection compared to my cheap-o fashion sunglasses. They are really comfortable- no irritation on the bridge of my nose or top of my ears. They are a little large- which is what I wanted to have good coverage, and I wanted wrap around coverage. Most importantly I can see well- sort of a softened 'brighter view'- no glare, rather than a darkened shaded view. I love how they look too- the matte tortoise shell frames are beautiful. I wear them while walking, biking and driving. I think I need another pair!
Great all around sunglasses
These are a great lightweight pair of sunglasses for pretty much any activity. They fit well, provide a lot of coverage, and don't bounce around. The lenses are dark enough for all but the brightest conditions. I've found them great for hiking, trail running, and lounging on the beach. They've been really durable over the past couple months, no scratches on lenses or frames.
