Balega  Hidden Comfort Socks

I ordered 2 of the Balega Hidden Comfort Socks one in Mystic Mauve and one in Black and the sizes are completely different. It’s almost like they are different socks. Both say they are medium, but the black socks are too large and the toe seam sticks out like whiskers on that pair and not the other. Disappointed in the quality differences between the different colors.

I bought a dozen of the hidden comfort during the July 4 sale. The material feels good on feet, however, their size runs large and feels loose on my feet, the worst is the sizing on each pair is inconsistent. See attached image, all 3 pairs are in size small.

These socks were my first pair specific to running. I love them. The extra cushion in the heel and ball of my foot make the 10 miles feel better. They do a great job of wicking the sweat. I didn't even realize before wearing the socks that I could use some relief in my shoes. I used these socks 2 weeks after I broke in my new pair of running shoes. I was so happy after the first couple of times of running in these socks that I have bought more pairs (Don't have to wash so often).

I have worn Swiftwicks, Feetures, Experia, and some others. These socks have held their shape the best. A little shrinkage but nothing to worry about.

I’m a plus size girl with wide feet... usually wear size 8-9 wide width sneakers or 9-10 dress shoes. I’ve always had problems with no show and ankle socks slipping beneath my heels... but not with these socks!!! I love them so much! Although these socks are considered no show, you can see about an inch on the sides of my Adidas Grand Court sneakers... but they stay on, so I’m happy.

These are the best socks ever. I have gone through so many different pairs to find the right ones. What is nice about these are that if you pick the right size they will never slip down into your shoes.Size true to size. Also we have a big time runner in the family and I have been buying these for him for 6 years now and they still wear great. Wash and dry still stay in shape..

I love the socks! I now know what kind to buy again. Comfortable, no rubbing, no blisters, no slipping, no bunching, kept their shape and washed well. Even the color makes me happy.

I've been aiming to upgrade my footwear, including treating myself to "good" socks. These were the first pair I bought from REI that i wore...and they were SO comfy! Not only did they make my feet feel better because of the cushion, but as I've been having a lot of trouble with my feet in the past year they also kept my feet comforted and protected, keeping them from being chafed and irritated from the insides of my shoes.

I have these and several colors. They are very comfortable and work well for most everything I do… From being active to relaxing. Some of the colors are more prone to shrink, especially the gray ones. Overall, these are very comfortable and wear well. When washing, I put them inside out. I either will dry on a low heat or air-out to dry. These socks are my favorite for all around uses. I will most likely get the calf height ones for cooler months and higher shoes/boots. His work great for low shoes of all types up to short boots.

Comofrtable right out off the shelf. The extra padding over your achilies tendon allows for comfortable extended use. The elastic allows for blood flow, but not slipping off, and still they manage to keep your feet warm without sweating through them. They do take sometime to dry, though far less then 70+% merino wool. Cannot speak to quality over years of use, however, they do well with sweat and microbes which means fewer washing and therefore less wear on the material. Major downside, they are synthetic instead of wool, this only matters if they wear down within a year of constant use.
