Excellent shoe for water use!
The shoe is built with quality in mind. The cinching strap works well at keeping the shoe on and debris out. I wear a 9.5 regular shoe and I ordered this shoe in a size 10; and the shoe fits perfectly. Overall this is a great product and worth the minimal investment.

Water shoes should drain!
Bought a pair of these for kayaking and sailing. They are comfortable but they don't drain. Stood in the water to load my sailboat onto the trailer. Hauled it to my storage spot at the marina. Spent about 20 minutes folding and storing the sail and putting the cover on the boat. All the time with water sloshing inside the shoes. Sat under a shelter for about an hour socializing with other sailors. Arrived home about 90 minutes after standing in the water and poured out over a tablespoonful of water from each shoe.

Awesome shoe

Great protection on rocks and shells! Use these on my paddle board and kayak. I’m a 10.5 and got the 10’s, will never come off when bailing into the water. This is must have gear and I’m so glad I bought these.

Kept Feet Warm

Bought them for an all-day river float over the weekend because water temps were around 59 degrees. We were floating in inner tubes so immersion was inevitable. Worked like a charm and kept my feet warm even when wet. Barely noticed a difference when getting in and out of the water. I wore them without any socks/liners and went down 1 size (normally an 11, but a 10 fit perfectly.)

Did what I was told they would.

Picked up a pair of these in store. Actually ran a size smaller than my normal shoe size. (I wear 12 normally but had to get a size 11). Just walked 3 miles through a very rocky creek today. Yes, they retain water. Yes, I was told by the sales person they would. Yes, they protected my feet from the sharp rocks on the creek bed. Yes, they kept my feet warm in the water. No, they did not offer much ankle support (and as a rather skinny guy they are hard to tighten snugly around my ankles) No, they did not self drain when out of the water.(but I was told they wouldn't) So other than slightly sore ankles and slushy shoes getting out of the creek and woods, they held up great, my feet feel fine and have no cuts or scrapes or puncture wounds from rocks or litter, and my feet stayed warm in the water the entire time.

Excellent water shoes

I bought the NRS water shoes about a month ago, and used them on three occasions. They prove to be easy to put on, comfortable to wear, and sturdy on a rocky beach.

Perfect for taking to the swimming hole

bought these for a hike I was taking up to a swimming hole above Ojai, California. They fit well and were great in the water. Plenty of grip for climbing rocks to jump from. I had to share them with a friend too but he has gone a bought his own pair.

Great pair of water shoes at a reasonable price

Best water shoes for me. I have size 15 foot and size 14 fits well, albeit with out any type of insulating sock. Have used only a few times so far but holding up well. The construction overall appears solid. The inside is comfortable, without an insert, and foot support is adequate for this type of footwear. The sole is thick and prevents rock bruises, but the shoe still feels fairly light. The ankle seal is good, less chance of getting pebbles in the shoe. The only issue is that there are no water drainage ports in the shoe (but on the other hand, less chance of debris getting in).

Very Durable Wetshoe

I purchased these shoes for kayaking, because I wanted something to protect my feet while getting in and out of the kayak on rocky shores. The build quality of these wetshoes is superb! I can tell they will last for years to come. My only complaint is that these shoes do not drain out water. It was slightly annoying having water slosh around in my shoes all day, but it's easy enough to take the shoes off and pour out the water. At the end of the day, these shoes did the job I wanted them to do for a very fair price.

work as expected

I finally decided my bare feet needed a little more warmth for winter SUP paddling in NorCal. These are perfect. They run a tad smaller than expected. I normally wear a size 11.5 and I ordered a 12. The toe box is nice and roomy. They are wet shoes, with neoprene. They are meant to fill up with a little water, that is how they work; they function exactly like a wetsuit should.
