Nimble, Fast, and Strong All-rounder bike
I bought this bike about a month ago with the intent of upgrading from my Specialized Sequoia (comfort oriented) to something that would allow me to ride quicker with increased efficiency from a well designed frame. This bike has a completely explosive frame geometry. Its eager to roll quicker on flats and climbs hills with ease compared to my previous bike. Going with an 11 speed bike and 11-28 cassette on the back makes it a perfect all round for endurance rides, charity rides and fast paced group rides. The reach and top tube are longer than my previous bike. So taking the bike for a 3-5 mile ride was very helpful with the size decision. I am 5'11' with a shorter torso and longer legs, so went with a size 54 that fits great. I did switch tires from the Lugano's to a Vittoria Rubino Pro III for better traction and flat resistance. Also upgraded the brake pads to Koolstop Salmons for better wet weather performance and they work great with the Tektro brakes. Its a killer machine for the price and if you are on the fence i highly recommend a test ride. I am sure you will be convinced. REI Tualatin's service was excellent and helped make my purchase easier.
