It scrapes.

It does what it needs to do for a snowboard. In my opinion, it's a bit overpriced for a piece of plastic. But, I was at the store buying other waxing equipment and didn't want to go searching for a cheaper scraper or similar piece of plastic. There was a small manufacturing defect on 1/4 of one of the long edges that I didn't spot when I picked it at the store, but it's not a big deal. There is plenty of other edge area to use.

Probably wouldn't recommend

This scrapper has rounded edges which made waxing a little more difficult and the edges had some excess plastic around the edges.

Sufficient & Affordable

I've been waxing and prepping my my board since I was old enough to buy all of my own tools and realize the difference in a well waxed board than one that isn't. I'm giving this product, and most plastic/acrylic scrapers, 4 of 5 stars because they work wonderfully and are affordable but they can become chipped and dulled over time and this will increase the amount of time you need to spend buffing off the remaining wax to get to the perfect finish. That said, you can re-hone the edge of these scrapers with a file or cutting a new edge with a miter saw and the correct blade. Careful, its stinky and you need to go slow to get a clean, sharp cut. Nonetheless, I keep a few different scrapers in my prep bag and still use this one in conjunction with a metal scraper. It's a solid product and great for if you're just starting out doing your own wax jobs. Additionally, they aren't terribly expensive so you can own a couple if you like to have "wax-parties" and get everyone involved in the process so one person isn't stuck doing all the work!

Good scraper does it jobs

Im new to waxing my own snowboard but this budget friendly scraper helps, after waxing my board 5 times now I would opt for a smaller one just because of prefrence but this scraper does the job well for the price and will last me for a lifetime.
