Trust me...you want this rope!

This is hands down the best rope I have ever used. Silky smooth handling, excellent durability and a nice, soft catch for those of us that fall off (repeatedly) from those oh so frustrating projects. Now, I'm not saying that for sure you will send your sick rock climb the first time you tie into this beauty...but your gonna feel really good about your decision every time you come screaming off the last move of gnarly proj #69. This rope slides very nicely through the Grigri to help with the whoopsy, bumbly belay your bumming off your neighbor/sister/dad/grandma/bum from the street you gave a 6 pack of tall boys for a catch....but also it locks up solid and fast, every time, despite its slim, sexy diameter. So with your mind at rest...you can relax and send that sickbird line!! Pros: -Great handling -Excellent durability -Soft catch -Comes pre-flaked! (just drop it on your manky blue tarp/ropebag and tie in) Cons: -everyone wants to climb on your sweet cord. -chicks are all over you making it hard to crush projects. -vivid colors take away from your shredded biceps in photos

100+ climbs and still going strong

I bought this in the spring of 2016 and it's been my main rope every since. I've put this thing through the ringer and it's still in great shape. I've taken multiple 20+ foot falls on this thing, I've used it in Indian Creek, Vedauwoo, Rifle, Boulder Canyon, and tons of other places and it's always been reliable. It's great as a project rope and can be used for just about any style of climbing. I'm just now starting to get a little fray on the outer sheath, mainly in the spot where I take falls or hang dog a lot, so this seems pretty standard. I'll be purchasing the Mammut 9.5mm 70m dry this week and using it as a direct comparison to this rope. For now, the Petzl Arial is the best rope I've ever used, hands down.

Light and Smooth

I have found my 9.5 mm Petzl Arial Dry Climbing Rope - to be one of the smoothest out there. I thought I would be walking the line taking repeated falls having a 9.5mm opposed to my standard 9.7-8mm's but this thing has been solid. It has been and will continue to be my workhorse for projects. It feeds so smoothly, has wonderful catches and I mean... It's a PETZL you can't go wrong.

Best Splurge Ever.

I bought this rope recently as a gift to replace a 60m rope. We've recently gotten into big wall climbing so this has made our lives SO much easier.
