Solid bags

I was replacing inferior REI store brand panniers. These cost more but stay on my rack securely. They carry plenty. I haven't tested the waterproofing, but based on the construction, I am not worried. They are odd to carry by the strap, with the super tall-ness of the unrolled bag and I think it would be very weird to carry two, but so far, they have worked well for me.

Great Panniers

These Ortlieb panniers work great and are fantastic when it comes to keeping all your stuff dry in raining conditions. It also surprisingly holds a lot more than I expected for each pannier. There are two interior slim pockets in the Ortlieb panniers that are sufficient, but are not perfect. I searched around for waterproof pannier with organizing pockets, but there seem to be few or none at all. My big complaint and surprise about the product is that you may want to check the screws that attach the horizontal piece connecting to the bike mount of the bike rack mount every now and then. A screw came out while I was trying to mount the pannier on the bike rack so I was able to see and find it, and not loose it in transit. Since purchasing the product about three months ago, I would not have expected that to happen. In general, the panniers are great overall, but that is something to definitely keep in mind.

Great product, very well built.

I replaced a pair of Navarro panniers with these and have been happy. They seem very sturdy and well build. I use them for daily commuting and grocery shopping and they hold a heck of a lot of stuff. I do wish that there was a better interior organization system for when I just have a couple of little things in the bags.
